Task 1:
ipconfig is a TCP/IP utility that you can use at the command prompt. You can use
the ipconfig command to get information about the configured TCP/IP
parameters on local or remote computers on the network. Winipcfg is a similar
utility for Windows 95 and Windows 98 clients. The winipcfg command allows a
user to network related information such as the IP address, subnet mask , default
gateway , DHCP server , WINS server , etc. The winipcfg program is available in
Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows ME, Windows NT. Windows 2000, Windows
XP, and later versions of Windows do not use this command. If you are using a
later version of Windows use the ipconfig command instead.

Nslookup: Nslookup utility is used to test and troubleshoot domain name servers.
Nslookup has two modes.
Non-authoritative answer simply means the answer is not fetched from the
authoritative DNS server for the queried domain name. root DNS servers. top-
level domain DNS servers. authoritative DNS servers.
