Example: Non-breaking wave force

A wall is located at a depth of 10 m at sea. Waves of 2 m height and 100 m
wave length are propagating towards the wall. Assume, ɣ = 10 KN/m3.
Calculate the magnitude and location of non-breaking wave force on the wall.
When,
(a) Wave crest hit the wall
(b) Wave trough hit the wall

H =2 m, L=100 m

d = 10 m ɣ = 10 KN/m3
