I am thankful to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, the government of the

People’s Republic of China and Ambassador of the People’s
Republic of China H.E. Yao Jing. for providing me the
opportunity to attend seminar on Automobile Industry Development
for Pakistan at Changsha, People’s Republic of China.

I and experts from Pakistan attended the seminar with high

expectations to learn from the Chinese automobile industry. China
has become world leading and rapidly growing economy and is a
role model for developing countries to learn from agile strategies
adopted by China to bring industrial revolution in their countries.

The automotive industry in China has been the largest in the

world measured by automobile unit production since 2008. Since
2009, annual production of automobiles in China exceeds that of
the European Union or that of the United States and Japan
combined. For us it was very important to be a part of this training
seminar to acquire China’s profound experiences regarding
industrial revolution in general and particularly in Automobile
Industry Development.
The training program covered a wide variety of learning fields
ranging from automobile basics, China automobile industry
development policy, automotive industry development trends,
broad exposure to future automotive technologies and special
visits to modern automotive manufactures BYD and Mitsubishi.
Competent industrial experts from different fields were arranged
to share their life long industrial experiences with us and it has
surely contributed to our understanding of China automobile
industry development process. I would pay special thanks to all
the senior Professors and industrial experts for converting this
training program expectations into reality.

I assure you that this seminar will certainly yield successful

outcomes for Pakistan. We also look forward to capacity building
of our technical human resource by China through such useful
training seminars in future. Pakistan government is seriously
committed towards development of Pakistan automobile industry.
I am sure this seminar will prove to be a stepping stone for
Pakistan automobile industry to re-formulate its policy and
strategy to meet the dynamic requirements of the automobile
industry. Pakistan is one of the most significant strategic allies in
one belt one road initiative due to its geostrategic location and has
facilitated Chinese trade. I believe Chinse investors will get
benefits from our Special Economic Zones (SEZ). Our
government is encouraging and facilitating investors with a 10
years’ tax exemption. Pakistan has always welcome Chinese
investors with warm heart and request them to invest in our
automobile industry.
During the seminar, a number of visits were also arranged to learn
china culture and its long history from multi-aspects. Visit to great
Mao Zedong monument is a life time memory. Mao Zedong is
regarded as one of the most important and influential Leader in
china history. He is credited to modernize the nation and building
it into a world super economic power through empowering
women, improving education and promoting industrialization.

Finally, on behalf of our team, I would like to thank the Ministry

of Commerce of China and the Hunan International Business
Vocational College for the professionalism and hospitality.
I would pay special tribute to the course organizers who designed
and delivered this seminar in a highly professional way.
I would also like to pay special thanks to our coordinators Miss
Kayla, Miss Jessie and Director Mr. Li Zhengnan for making all
special arrangements for our training and stay here at china.
