SUBJECT: ADMISSION PROCEDURES for REGULAR and IRREGULAR
STUDENTS
The province may have been under the Modified General Community Quarantine status till
July 15 and hoping it will remain as such or totally be lifted soon, still the university for
the sake of students” safety and welfare the conduct of assisted (face-to-face) enrolment
transaction is still prohibited within the campus. Instead, we have intensified and
enhanced our enrolment procedure to better serve our students,
Old students regardless of their academic standing and year level need to confirm their
ent fo enrolment for First Semester, AY 2020-2021 from July 8 — July 10, 2020
through their student portal account.
3. POR REGULAR STUDENTS
a. A regular student is one who is registered for formal academic credits and carries
the prescribed academic load for his/her course in the semester for which s/he is
registered.
b. Colleges will be provided with a list of regular students with confirmed status of
enrollment by the Management and Information Systems (MIS) office.
c. The Office of the College Dean will facilitate the pre-registration of students in
their course programs and appropriate section from July 14-17, 2020.
d_ Tagging of free tuition will be done by the Management Information Systems
Office (MISO).
. Through their student portal account, students can view / print their Certificate
of Registration starting July 17, 2020 at 6:00 pm,
£ Student portal account is to be used for their flexible learning classes in the MS
Teams.

0 720204. FOR IRREGULAR STUDENTS.
a. ‘The Admission and Registration Office will be in charge in the enrolment of
the Irregular Students.
b. The Online Registration for Irregular Students is on July 20 - 31, 2020. An
irregular student is one who is registered for formal academic credits but carries
Jess than the full load prescribed for his/her course in the semester for which s/he is
registered, and /or carries subjects at different year level and/or different subjects
offered in different semesters.
c. For Irregular Students WITHOUT Request for Waiver of Prerequisite or
Academic Overload
i. Using their student portal account, students must pre-register the
subjects they can enroll in their course program for the current semester
ii, Before saving the pre-registration form, students must see to it that they have
registered the correct subjects.
iii, ‘Tagging of free tuition will be done by the Management Information
Systems Office (MISO).
iv. Through their student portal account, students can view / print their
Certificate of Registration starting August 1, 2020.
¥. Student portal account is to be used for their flexible learning classes in
the MS Teams.
4. For Irregular Students WITH Request for Waiver of Prerequisite or
Academic Overload
i. Conditions in case students need to waive prerequisites / academic
overload
1. Under normal circumstances, students must meet all prerequisites
before they can enroll in a course. Waiver of Prerequisite allow
students to get permission to take a course for which they do not
have the required prerequisite.
2. Approval of waiver of prerequisite request will be granted based
‘on the following cases:
a. INC incurred during 2" semester 2019-2020.
b. Regular Prerequisite subjects supposedly offered in the
Midyear 2020
3. Non-graduating students can apply for Academic Overload for
the current school year if and only if
a. Subjects which were supposedly offered in
Midyear 2020 were transferred this first semester,
and
b. The total number of units to be enrolled should not
exceed 28 units.
4. Graduating students can apply for academic overload this current
semester but the total number of units to be enrolled should not
exceed 28 units,
ii, Using their student portal account, students must pre-register the
subjects they can enroll in their course program for the current semester.iii, Before saving the pre-registration form, students must see to it that they have
registered the correct subjects,
iv. In case they need to take a subject with prerequisite, the following are the
Steps in the Online Request for Academic Overload / Waiver of Pre-
Requisite.
1. Sign in using student portal account at https://register.tsu,edu.ph
2. Click Enrolment Request on the navigation bar
3. Click Academic Overload/Waiver of Pre-Requisite on the
Enrolment Request Page
4. Create a Request
5. Select the Subject(s) you intend to enroll
6. Add the Subject(s) you intend to enroll

Submit the Request,
After clicking the Submit Request button, students need to provide
reason(s) for their request. Then click submit button,
9. The check the status of the request, students need to go back at
the Academic Overload/Waiver of Pre-Requisite Page.
10. The request must be approved by the University Registrar.
11. Once approved, the registrar will enroll the student in the
subject s/he requested, subject t0 availability of slots.
v. Tagging of free tuition will be done by the Management Information
Systems Office (MISO),
vi. Through their student portal account, students can view / print their
