TÉRMINOS SEMEJANTES III

3.- Reducción de más de dos términos semejantes de distinto signo.

REGLA:
Se reducen a un solo término todos los positivos, se reducen a un solo término todos los
negativos y a los dos resultados obtenidos se aplica la regla del caso anterior.

Ejemplos.

1. Reducir:
M =5 a−8 a+ a−6 a+21 a
Resolución
Reduciendo los positivos: +5 a+ a+21 a=+ 27 a
Reduciendo los negativos: −8 a−6 a=−14 a
Tendremos finalmente: +27 a−14 a=+13 a Rpta.
2. Reducir:
M =2 x−8 x + x−6 x−2 x+5 x−3 x
Resolución
Reduciendo los positivos: +2 x+ x+5 x=+8 x
Reduciendo los negativos: −8 x−6 x−2 x−3 x=−19 x
Tendremos finalmente: +8 x−19 x=−11 x Rpta .
3. Reducir:
M =x−7 x + x−9 x +12 x −10 x
Resolución
Reduciendo los positivos: + x + x+ 12 x=+14 x
Reduciendo los negativos: −7 x−9 x−10 x=−26 x
Tendremos finalmente: +14 x−26 x =−12 x Rpta .
