A.   TECHNOLOGY PLAN 

I. Course Design

b. Trainee Requirements 
 can communicate in basic English either oral and written;
 at least high school graduate;
 physically and mentally fit;
 with good moral character; and
 can perform basic mathematical computation

 Must have internet and video camera - capable device [smart phone/
tablet/ laptop/desk top]
 Must have Ecopy of the following requirements:
-Form 137 or High School Card or ALS Certificate

c. Trainer Requirements 

 Must be a holder of National TVET Trainer Certificate I (TM I and


NC)
 Must be physically and mentally fit
 Have at least 2 years relevant job/industry experience
 Must have attended relevant or upgrading trainings and seminars in an
online teaching/facilitating eLearning
 Must have list of information literacy in internet and mobile
environment

d. Monitoring and Grading System 

Built-in LMS Monitoring System cloud base such as usage reports, logs reports,
activity reports, and gradebook shall be utilized to track the attendance and
learning/activity progress of the trainees for the online training.

The Course Administrator shall set in enable mode to allow Teachers/Trainers and
Students also access to completion tracker to monitor their own progress.

Evaluation ratings of the face to face in the practical demonstration and institutional
assessment shall be uploaded and integrated into the system to generate the overall
rating.

Institutional Assessment System 

Institutional assessment is undertaken by trainees to determine their achievement of


units of competency. A certificate of achievement is issued for each unit of
competency.

The following assessment methods are the tools to be used to determine competency
[Knowledge, Skills, Attitude] per unit of competency:

Portfolio assessment – The portfolio contains samples of the learner's work and
shows growth over time. A portfolio is a type of assessment that reflects the process
of writing, work sheet/project.

This Qualification is packaged from the competency map of Tourism Sector (Hotels
and Restaurants)
