Reasons I took this course:
The techniques presented in this course, enhanced by the quality of the recitals (which walk
you through the R-code application of the concepts presented) are very relevant to the subject
matter. The course contains in-depth knowledge which helps to learn more about business
analytics. The assignments will test your presentation skills and creativity skills. Certificate
passing

6. Learnings from the course:


I found this course exciting and rewarding because I already have a background in statistics,
can use R or another programming language, and are familiar with databases and data
analysis techniques such as regression, classification, and clustering. However, it contains a
number of recitals and R Studio tutorials which will consolidate my competences, enable me
to play more freely with data, and explore new features and statistical functions in R. With
this course, I had a first overview on Strategic Business Analytics topics. Professor discusses
a wide variety of applications of Business Analytics. From Marketing to Supply Chain or
Credit Scoring and HR Analytics, etc. It covers many different data analytics techniques, each
time explaining how to be relevant for your business. It also presents me with different data
analytics tools to be applied to different types of issues. By doing so, It helped me to develop
four sets of skills needed to leverage value from data: Analytics, IT, Business, and
Communication.

7. As an individual I developed:
In addition to learning about these concepts, I had the opportunity to apply them through a
hands-on exercise (It's Full of Sparks) and real-world recital such as Inventory Management
and HR datasets. As a result of these various learning activities, I had a deep understanding
about how digital tools are transforming the pricing landscape.
I learnt to translate these learnings into action which give me a sense of confidence in myself
in this field. I also believe this course has improved my knowledge and will definitely help
me in my career in future
