Subject: Designer of the Month

Your proposal for a Designer of the Month program is much appreciated. Floral Finds has been recognized as
one of the most successful small businesses in the area. Its creative and unique employees play a crucial role in
keeping the business running.

Much of the clientele is recruited by word of mouth, and many orders are placed over the phone. Research has
indicated that numerous visual displays would be costly. The majority of the client base would not be able to
appreciate such displays and thus they would not be beneficial to the company, so the program will not be
implemented at this time.

The concept of recognizing the designers’ extraordinary work is something Floral Finds would like to instate.
Perhaps the designer of the month could have his or her work displayed in photographs around the shop. Your
elaboration on this smaller-scale concept would be much appreciated. Please call extension 0553 if you could
like to pursue a smaller-scale program.
