User can conveniently manage IUSB-9041WG by USBIP Admin or web via LAN interface. It is
easy for you to install and configure USB server over the network by USBIP Admin.

Step 2: Push the IUSB-9041WG toward the DIN-Rail until you heard a “click” sound.

Step 2: Use 6 screws that can be found in the package to combine the wall mount panel. Just like
the picture shows below:

The screws specification shows in the following two pictures. In order to prevent
IUSB-9041WG from any damage, the screws should not larger than the size that used in
IUSB-9041WG.

1. Ready LED. Blinking when device is booting, and light on when device is ready to use.
2. LED for PWR1, PWR2 & PWR3. When the PWR is linked, the green led will be light on.
3. LED for USB. When USB device is connected, the green led will be light on.
6. LED for fault indicator. When fault occurred, this red LED will be light on.

The IUSB-9041WG has standard Ethernet ports. According to the link type, the
IUSB-9041WG use CAT 3, 4, 5,5e UTP cables to connect to any other network device (PCs,
servers, switches, routers, or hubs). Please refer to the following table for cable
specifications.

The IUSB-9041WG supports auto MDI/MDI-X operation. You can use a straight- through
cable to connect PC to IUSB-9041WG. The following table below shows the 10BASE-T/
100BASE-TX MDI and MDI-X port pin outs.

Note: “+” and “-” signs represent the polarity of the wires that make up each wire pair.
Management Interface
5.1 USBIP Admin
USBIP Admin is a powerful Windows utility for USB server. It supports server discovery, server
configuration and Device Mapping .it is easy for you to install and configure server over the
network.
Please run the setup program, Follow the instructions on screen to install the USB-Tool.exe.
After finishing Installing, Running USB-Tool.exe, it will be shown as below.

In this section, you will learn how to use your USB devices via the USB Server.

Before using USB Server, connect your USB device to any of the USB port on the
USB Server.
Right-click the USB device, choose “connect”, the USB device will be mounted to the
local PC, then you can access this device freely as if it was physically plugged into
your own PC USB

Note: Any device is to be disconnected or unplugged only after proper closure of related Applications.
Step 1 Search servers over Network. You can scan all server or scan specify server.
The list will show all the USB server devices over the Network. (Default IP:
192.168.10.2)

It also allows user to search the device by enter the MAC of the
IUSB-9041WG.After the tool gets the device, go to the next step to set the IP
of IUSB-9041WG.

Step 3 After the device is set & updated, it will be added into the list.

USBIP Admin Utility enables Printers be shared between multiple clients making it a
bidirectional Print Server.
In order to share the printer between multiple clients, user may need to connect the
printer at least once to install the driver for the Printer.
Once the printer is enumerated, disconnect the Printer form the Device Mapping
Window; Select the Printer Auto Connect button on the menu bar to open
the Printer Auto-Connect Window. This can also be done from “Device Mapping”
window.

You can conveniently Manage USB server, Include search server, Upgrade
Firmware, USB server configuration, Load default and so on.
Upgrade Firmware
Click “Browse” and Choose the firmware path, then click “Transfer”, it will take
about 5 minutes to upgrade Firmware

Important Note: It will take about 6 to 7 minutes to upgrade the Firmware. Please don’t
power-off the Power or remove the network cable during the Firmware Upgrade. The USB server
will auto reboot after the firmware grade is completed.
Basic setting
You can set any name that you like for USB server. USB server Default Name is
“IUSB-9041WG”.

IP setting
You must assign a valid IP address for USB Server before attached in your network
environment. You can configure the Static IP manually or set DHCP mode to
automatically obtain an IP address from DHCP server. The Factory Default IP
address is “192.168.10.2”

Password
You can set up the password to prevent unauthorized access from your
server. Factory default is “admin”

Users can easily manage USB Server by Sever WEB Page. The web interface has a home
page and four configuration pages, include Home page, Network Page, Status Page, Upgrade
Firmware Page and LOG Page.
Input the IP address of USB server with “https://192.168.10.2” in the URL of the browser,
then home page will be shown as below. The home page main displays the current network
settings, Server name, Firmware version and the USB server Feature.

Date and Time can be set from this page. By enabling the NTP allow the
device to get the date / time from NTP server when the IUSB-9041WG started
up.

Wireless setting
Wireless Network type includes two modes: INFRA and ADHOC. The INFRA
type connects the network by wireless access point, but the ADHOC is formed
by the association of wireless and mobile devices capable of communicating
among themselves even when there is no networking INFRA structure
available.

The following table describes the labels in this screen.
Label Description
Service Set Identifier Default is the default setting. The SSID is a unique name that
SSID identifies a network. All devices on a network must share the same SSID name in order to

NO Encryption You can set no encryption mode, but this mode is insecurity and don’t suggest use.

5.2.4 STATUS
The status page displays the current status of the USB devices attached.
The Device Status table shows the Vendor Id, Product Id, Product Name, and
Manufacturer name, USB Speed, client IP, client PC name, Duration.

You can upgrade Firmware by http ,click “Browse” and Choose the firmware path,
then click ”Http Upgrade” .

Important Note: It will take about 6 to 7 minutes to upgrade the Firmware. Please don’t power-off
the Power or remove the network cable during the Firmware Upgrade. The USB server will auto reboot
after the firmware grade is completed.
5.2.6 NOTIFICATION
Specify the events that should be notified to the administrator. The events can be
alarmed by E-mail, system log or LED / Relay.
