8 SB 1.3.28 — All of the above-mentioned incarnations are either ete cāṁśa-kalāḥ puṁsaḥ
plenary portions or portions of the plenary portions of the Lord, kṛṣṇas tu bhagavān svayam
but Lord Śrī Kṛṣṇa is the original Personality of Godhead. All of

Lord, who alone can sanctify the atmosphere of the whole jagat-pavitraṁ pragṛṇīta karhicit
universe, are considered by saintly persons to be like unto a place
of pilgrimage for crows. Since the all-perfect persons are tad vāyasaṁ tīrtham uśanti mānasā
inhabitants of the transcendental abode, they do not derive any na yatra haṁsā niramanty uśik-kṣayāḥ
pleasure there.
13 SB 1.5.11 — On the other hand, that literature which is full of tad-vāg-visargo janatāgha-viplavo

creation, full of transcendental words directed toward bringing nāmāny anantasya yaśo ’ṅkitāni yat
about a revolution in the impious lives of this world’s misdirected śṛṇvanti gāyanti gṛṇanti sādhavaḥ
civilization. Such transcendental literatures, even though

men who are thoroughly honest.
14 SB 1.5.12 — Knowledge of self-realization, even though free from naiṣkarmyam apy acyuta-bhāva-varjitaṁ

which are naturally painful from the very beginning and transient kutaḥ punaḥ śaśvad abhadram īśvare
by nature, if they are not utilized for the devotional service of the na cārpitaṁ karma yad apy akāraṇam
Lord?

happiness derived from sense enjoyment is concerned, it can be kālena sarvatra gabhīra-raṁhasā
