Course Objectives:
This course has been designed
 To understand the Banking system &structure in India.
 To get insight of the services provided by banking institutions.
 To help understand regulatory framework and latest changes in
banking system.
 To understand what Micro finance is all about.

Evaluation:
Internal Evaluation will be based on scores obtained by students in different modes of
assessment conducted throughout the semester. The internal evaluation is of 70 marks.
 Midterm Test: 30 marks
 Assignment 1: 20 marks (case study)
 Assignment 2: 20 marks (Quiz)
 Assignment 3: 20 marks (Class presentation)
Assignment marks will be considered on average basis. (60/3=20)
Viva carries 20 marks.
External Evaluation carries 80 marks.

Attendance Policy:
The attendance in all classes/sessions is compulsory for all students. Continuous class
assessments will be done all through the trimester. Any assignments/ presentations/ Quizzes
can be conducted without any prior notice to students.
