Course Objectives:
This course has been designed
To understand the Banking system &structure in India.
To get insight of the services provided by banking institutions.
To help understand regulatory framework and latest changes in
banking system.
To understand what Micro finance is all about.
Evaluation:
Internal Evaluation will be based on scores obtained by students in different modes of
assessment conducted throughout the semester. The internal evaluation is of 70 marks.
Midterm Test: 30 marks
Assignment 1: 20 marks (case study)
Assignment 2: 20 marks (Quiz)
Assignment 3: 20 marks (Class presentation)
Assignment marks will be considered on average basis. (60/3=20)
Viva carries 20 marks.
External Evaluation carries 80 marks.
Attendance Policy:
The attendance in all classes/sessions is compulsory for all students. Continuous class
assessments will be done all through the trimester. Any assignments/ presentations/ Quizzes
can be conducted without any prior notice to students.
