This is the web-portal for the people to provide

“Option for Willingness /Withdrawal through Online application Form-1 & Form-2 for appointment
by permanent transfer in Water Resources Department Services as per the provisions of Karnataka
Water Resources Department; Online application Form-3 to be filled by WRD Recruit”

How to access the Web Application:

Option-1

First option is to access the Water Resources website-

Click on “Transfer By Appointment” button which will take you to the page to understand the process

Click on “Proceed” button which will take you to the portal as below:

The other option is to directly access the portal - http://wrd.vjnl.in/

Highlights of the Web Application

We have tried to keep the web portal as user friendly as possible. We have also tried to provide all
the necessary guidelines and clarifications (which will reduce the confusion to the users). It is
developed and designed keeping the less tech-savvy in mind.

Available in both English & Kannada languages

o The top bar has an option to switch between languages (Kannada/English). You can
toggle between these two whenever required
 Deadline counter – Highlighted for the user in Red at the top-header
o The counter is a reminder of the 45 days deadline

 Multiple Notes & guidelines for users

If you scroll down in the home page, you will find the details highlighted in Red color.
o Even if you had submitted the Willingness/Withdrawal form previously, you need to
fill it again.
o It is mandatory to fill in both English and Kannada. Use Nudi 6.0. You can download
it from here
o Details in Kannada need to be filled in "Unicode" format only.
o All detailed to be entered as per Service Register
o You are wholly responsible for the information provided.
o Please verify twice before you submit the form. Hence, an option to Preview is
provided before submitting
o Please fill the relevant details – All details – both in Kannada & English. It is
mandatory for everyone to provide the details. We need your co-operation in this
matter.
o If you are aware of the process, please help/guide others who are filling the forms
and tell them the pre-requisites.
 We have mentioned both in English & Kannada about these details.

Must Needed details before filling the form

We have formed a list of the information and shared it in the web portal as well. Here is the

Filling the Form

You need to fill the one of the form based on the option you want to choose

 Submission of Willingness Form - With reference to the Government Notifications and

order, the person who would like to submit willingness for appointment by transfer
permanently into Services of Water Resources Department.
Any officials/ engineers/employees, who has been appointed by PWD after 2003 are not
eligible to submit the option of willingness for appointment by transfer in Water Resources
Department.

 Submission of Withdrawal Form - With reference to the Government Notifications and

circular, the user had submitted willingness for appointment by transfer permanently into
Services of Water Resources Department. But now due to personal/ unavoidable reasons,
he/she would like to remain in the parent department
 WRD Recruit Update Details - If the user is already from WRD and appointed from 2005
onwards, he/she needs to fill the form and provide all the required information. Appointment
Orders & Date to whom it is applicable:
o WRD/ESG/60(J.E)/Appointment/2008,dated 11/09/2009
o WRD/33/SeSaKe/2015, dated 19/10/2015
o WRD/37/SeSaKe/2015, dated 19/10/2015

Reiterating, here is the list of information that you need to be keeping handy before
beginning the form filling:

o First KGID No
o Aadhar Card No
o PAN Card No
o Date of Entry into Service
o Appointment Order No & Date

Option-1: Willingness
For Option-1, here are the screenshots of the 5 step process

This is the First Step. You need to fill all the mandatory fields and only then click on “Next”
button. Make sure that you enter in both languages and as per the Service Register only.

Clarifying again, the Entry of Service is restricted until Dec 31 st, 2003 only since this form is
open for people appointed by PWD until the year 2003 only.
Next is Step-2.

In Step-3, based on your option selected, different sub options are displayed. Please enter all the
details correctly

You will need to upload the photo and signature files in this step. Make sure that the size is less than
1MB and also type is of jpg/png only
In Step-4 also, based on the option selected, further inputs are asked

Step-5 is about Educational Details only. Fill the details that is as per your qualification (in both
English/Kannada)
Please click on "Preview" to check the draft pdf format that opens in a new tab/window.

If you want to edit something, click on Previous button to go back to that Step and change the
details. Come back to this page and check the "Preview" again. Once everything is fine, click on
"Confirm & Submit" button to submit your application and generate the final PDF.

Once successfully completed, a new tab opens with the final Application form (pdf file auto
populated with all the details). If not, you can click on the “View/Download Form” to view the pdf
file. You can also click on “Send Mail” button to send yourself (to the mail-id provided in the form) a
copy of the application form.
Option-2: Withdrawal of Willingness

This is Step-1 for this form. Provide all the details in both English and Kannada. And the Parent
Department option is restricted to PWD & Others since WRD recruits are not allowed to fill this
form.
Please click on "Preview" to check the draft pdf format that opens in a new tab/window.

If you want to edit something, click on Previous button to go back to that Step and change the
details. Come back to this page and check the "Preview" again. Once everything is fine, click on
"Confirm & Submit" button to submit your application and generate the final PDF.

Once successfully completed, a new tab opens with the final Application form (pdf file auto
populated with all the details). If not, you can click on the “View/Download Form” to view the pdf
file. You can also click on “Send Mail” button to send yourself (to the mail-id provided in the form) a

Option-3: WRD Recruit – Update Details
For Option-3, here are the screenshots of the 5 step process

This is the First Step. As you can see, the option to select the Parent Department is disabled,
since this form is only for WRD Recruits. You need to fill all the mandatory fields and only then
click on “Next” button. Make sure that you enter in both languages and as per the Service
Register only.
Next is Step-2.

In Step-3, based on your option selected, different sub options are displayed. Please enter all the
details correctly

You will need to upload the photo and signature files in this step. Make sure that the size is less than
