SSB INTERVIEW : TGC-116TH COURSE

Dear Candidate,
1. Further to notification issued by Army Headquarters, New Delhi and published in Employment News.
2. We are pleased to inform you that you are nominated to attend SSB interview for joining Indian Military Academy.
3. You are required to report at Bangalore City Railway Station at 1500 hrs on 17 OCTOBER 2012.
4. Your Roll No along with your name, date of birth and email id is available on www.joinindianarmy.nic.in as well as in the attached file.
Detailed instructions is in the attachment file. Please read them carefully and ensure compliance (please see the attached file with email).
5. If you have any queries, please mention your Roll Number, Type of Entry, Course Serial Number, Call Up letter Number, Full Postal Address,
otherwise your request will not be accepted. MOBILE NUMBER AND E-MAIL ID should invariably be mentioned to enable this office to response to your
queries. Enquiries, if any, shall be entertained on working days between 1000 hrs to 1400 hrs and 1630 hrs to 1800 hrs. You may contact us on the

6. ‘No Claim Certificate’ is enclosed as part of joining instruction. Please bring the same along with you duly signed by your parent/guardian and
hand over the same at the time of reporting.
7. Mobile Phones are not allowed to be used during the period of selection process.
8. You are required to bring any one of Voters’ ID/ Passport/Driving License/ PAN Card/Admit Card/Hall Ticket for the latest examination, as
proof of your identity.
9. Please ensure that your Mobile No and E-Mail ID is mentioned in all your correspondence with this office to respond to your query.
10. Travelling Allowance. You are now authorised to travel by AC III / AC Chair Car. A candidate is entitled to travelling allowances when he
attends the interview for a commission for the first time. Such allowances is not admissible for second or subsequent attempt for the same type of
commission.
11. Documents. You are requested to bring the following documents for the SSB interview :-
(a) Xth & XIIth Class marks sheets and certificates in original along with two attested photocopies of each document.
(b) Independent mark sheet of all years / semesters of Graduation , B.E/ B.Tech, Post Graduation in notified branch in Original and
along with two attested photocopies of each document.
(c) Provisional/Pass certificate of graduation course obtained which should be signed preferably by Registrar / vice chancellor of
University/Dean of the faculty concerned or Principal / Head of the institution clearly indicating that they have passed the required examination
in full and are eligible for award of Degree (s), along with their respective marks sheet of all parts / years/ semesters.

(d) Degree of qualifying examination all other degree certificates including certificates of specialized qualification and Diploma course
as the case may be.
(e) A print out of ONLINE APPLICATION. Those candidates who do not have their ONLINE APPLICATION, can bring a
COMMON APPLICATION FORM duly filled available on website mentioned at Para 4 above. The photo pasted on online application should
be attested by Gazetted Officer.
(f) FOR NORTH-EAST CANDIDATES ONLY. Candidates from North-East will have to bring High School leaving certificate duly
endorsed with date of birth.
12. NOTE : -
(a) The subject branch should be a NOTIFIED BRANCH ONLY. No candidates claiming equivalency due to difference in nomenclature
would be permitted to appear in SSB. The NOTIFIED BRACHES FOR TGC-116 are Civil (including Mining / Construction), Electrical
(including Electrical & Electronics), Mechanical (including Industrial / Industrial Engineering & Management), Automobile Engineering /
Workshop Technology , Production (including Manufacturing / Metallurgical / Metallurgy & Explosives), Rubber Technology / Plastic
Technology / Textiles, Electronics (including Electronics & Instrumentation / Micro Electronics & Microwave / Opto Electronics),
Communication / Telecommunication (Including ECE / Electronics & Communication), Architecture / Building Constr Technology, Computer
Science & Engg / Computer Science / M.Sc (Computer).
(b) AGE LIMIT : For Engineering Graduates – 20 to 27 yrs (Born between 02 Jan 1986 and 01 Jan 1993).
(c) Candidates who have had an “year back/failed” by one year during the engineering degree course are NOT eligible to apply.
(d) All correspondence regarding change of date of SSB interview is to be addressed to this Selection Centre and not to ADG Rtg.
No action will be taken on letters addressed directly to ADG Rtg for request for change of date for SSB interviews.

13. You are required to get a printout of this callup letter and bring alongwith you for the SSB along with all documents. Callup letter is not being
sent to you separately.
