MURDER HIGH REUNION

CLASS OF
‘85 It’s been 25 years since you left the
hallowed halls of James D. Murder High.
You’ve come a long way in those twenty-five years and so have your classmates. It’s
time to reunite with your old friends (and enemies) to see what everyone’s become.
Unfortunately for the sake of the reunion, what one of you has become is a murderer.
Will it be the jock turned gym teacher who still has something to prove? The
valedictorian who refuses to let anyone top them? Ever. Or possibly the
class president who is now a U.S. presidential hopeful? It’s almost too
predictable...or is it?
The Murder High Class Reunion is a night of mystery
and mayhem intertwined with rivalries from the past
that spill over to the present. With Murder High,
it’s not only what you were, but what you’ve
become. And let’s hope it’s a survivor.

HOST’S GUIDE
THANK YOU FOR PURCHASING
THE MURDER HIGH CLASS REUNION
We are confident that you will find this comprehensive packet to provide everything that you will want and
need to run your very own murder mystery party— one that will have your guests talking about it for weeks, if
not longer.
This murder mystery experience is designed to be easy to run and fun to play for all the guests involved.
The game is played with all of your guests having active roles in the game and each guest having objectives to
complete. These objectives keep the party free-flowing and allow your guests to draw their own conclusions as
to the motives and to the murderer. This format also allows for great mingling amongst your guests and insures
that all of your guests feel included. Before the night is through, each guest will have discovered that they have a
motive for killing the victim and be inclined to protect their innocence as well as seek out the murderer. Also, to
add to the experience and suspense of the night, the murder happens during the party, not before, as is the case in
some other murder mystery games. The victim is also allowed to play along after they ‘die’ for they have no clue
who murdered them. The Murder High Class Reunion is guaranteed to be a hit with all of your guests.
Prepared in the following pages, is a simple list of things you need to do as host in order to have the party run
smoothly. Once the party is going, it is up to the guests to make the most of it— something you will be surprised
at how well they do.

Get a $5 coupon and a FREE Party!

Once your party is thrown, please let us know how your party went by posting it on our MURDER
MYSTERY MESSAGE BOARD! We will email you a $5 coupon for posting comments and/or pictures about
your party. In addition to the coupon, each month we will select one posting to be featured in our “Party of the
Month” forum and that customer will receive a $45 gift certificate towards the purchase of a future party.

ASSIGNING THE CHARACTERS:

• You, as host, will need to decide upon a character for each of your guests. The easiest way to assign the
characters is to read the character descriptions and match each character with the guest that you feel suits that
particular character the best.
• If you choose NOT to know the murderer, you can simply choose NOT to read the character descriptions or
examine the evidence before the party. This will allow you to play along with everyone else, but will not allow
you to read the descriptions when assigning the characters. (You can find a short list of the characters with
descriptions on the next page.)
• Who should you (as host) be? It is up to you and how active of a role you want to play in the mystery. Some
hosts prefer to be very active while other hosts prefer to take a lesser role and concentrate more on facilitating.
The hall monitor is a good role for the host to ensure facilitation.
• Because this party is dependent on at least 20 people showing up, you may want to find out ahead of time
if people are available before assigning characters. One way to do this is to send out the general invite and the
Reunion News with an RSVP date of two weeks before the party. Then when your guests RSVP positive, you
can send along their character sheet.
• The killer will not know they are the murderer until they open their second envelope at the party.
• The victim will not know they are the victim until they get to the party. The victim will not have a list of objec-
tives for after the murder. If the victim wishes to play along after the murder, they can do so without an identity.
If you have an extra identity, they can also assume that identity if they so choose.
• Some good suggestions for assigning couples include: Joe Nebraska and Natalie Nebraska or Pamela Ab-
dul, Byron P. Keaton & Myra S. Keaton, Danny Drums & Sally Sax, Mike Majesty & Mallory Majesty, Steve
Spielson & Cindy Crawfish, Nick & Nancy Nixon.
• If you are short of 20 guests, the game can be played without the following characters: Terry Johnson,
Myra S. Keaton, Mallory Majesty, Bailey Babble & Randy Reporter (in that order, if possible). If Terry Johnson
has been eliminated, the victim can assume that role after “death”.

assumed by either a male or female guest). With 15 guests: 7 Male, 6 Female, 3 Gender-neutral.

tial candidate have too many skeletons in the closet? Male. Smooth and fast-talking, a real politician at heart, wants to please
everyone.
Nancy Nixon— The Class Vice President. Nancy has always been known to stand by her man, but is she tired of always
being put on the back burner…? Female. Prim and proper. She can be obedient, but also deceiving.

current soap opera hit, The Brash and The Brutal. For the sake of the reunion, let’s hope she is neither. Female. A real drama
queen. The more the acting ability the better. Should be able to ham it up.
Bobbie Bright— The Valedictorian. A Harvard law graduate, Bobbie won’t let anyone challenge their claim to “most
likely to succeed”. Male or female. Confident, know-it-all & conniving.
Joe Nebraska— The Jock. As the captain of the football, basketball and baseball team, Joe is a legend at Murder High
and in his own mind. Joe has said he will do anything to become a legend at the reunion as well. Male. Cool, calm, confident
and collected.
Natalie Nebraska— The Cheerleader. Popular and perfect, everyone loves her. Or so she thinks. Female. Loves to be the
center of attention and finds no faults in herself.
Pamela Abdul— The Pompom Captain. The queen of dance in high school, Pamela went on to great stardom in chore-
ography. She is said to be back to spice things up, especially with her old rivals. Female. Catty and willing to fight for what
she thinks she deserves.
Mallory Majesty— The Prom Queen. With Mallory’s wealth and good looks, she is accustomed to ALWAYS getting her
way and Mallory will make sure that the reunion is no different. Female. Needs to be able to be controlling and outgoing.
Mike Majesty—The Prom King. A proper king keeps court with only those who will enhance his reign. Male. Needs to be
able to be deceiving and deliberate.
Cindy Crawfish—The Class Flirt. Cindy is still vibrant, bold and unmarried after twenty-five years. Most of the women
at the reunion may want to protect themselves... and their man. Rumor has it Cindy can be deadly when she doesn’t get
what she wants. Female. Outgoing and bold. The more flirtatious they can be, the better.
Judd Jenson— The Class Stud. Best friends with Joe & Mike, Judd was always the most popular with the girls. Now that
he is 25 years older, there may be some rejection that he is not used to… Male. Confident, cocky, outgoing and smart.
Bailey Babble—The Class Gossip. Bailey has been living and working in this town since they graduated high school and
still knows everything that’s going on. But how much is too much? Male or female. Outgoing, nosy and talkative a must.
Steve Spielson—Audio Visual Squad Leader. This a.v. squad geek turned Hollywood movie director, Steve is said to be
the most successful of the high school classmates, but has he betrayed too many on his way to stardom? Male. Loud, bold
and forthcoming. Not afraid to complete his objectives.
Randy Reporter—Newspaper Editor. With a presidential candidate at the reunion, Randy is determined to get an insider
scoop, and they won’t stop till they find it! Male or female. Professional and poised. Willing to question people to get the to the
bottom line.
Byron P. Keaton—The Math Team Captain. The king of calculators is back to strut his stuff. Ridiculed in high school,
Byron is returning to show just how far money can take you. Male. Confident and willing to ham it up as a nerd. Proud of his
wealth.
Myra S. Keaton—The Math Team Cheerleader. Married to Byron, Myra is planning on coming to the reunion to show
the “real” cheerleaders what she is made of…these days it’s money! Female. Confident and fun. Someone who will love being
a nerd.
Terry Johnson—Hall Pass Monitor. Terry was hard-nosed in high school and even harder nosed now as a traffic cop.
Watch out because Terry will be watching everyone’s moves and will take charge if anything goes wrong at the reunion.
Male or female. Someone who is willing to take control. Wants nothing more than to find the killer.
Danny Drums—Marching Band. To Danny, nothing mattered more in high school than band camp. Music is still on his
mind, as is revenge. Male. Nerdy and fun, but with a spine. He is out to get what is rightfully his.
Sally Sax—Marching Band. Sally is now married her band camp sweetheart and wants to make sure her sweetie doesn’t
step out of line. Female. Nerdy and fun. She has an agenda and needs to be outgoing.
B.A. Barricade—The Punk. Never one to take orders well, now B.A. does it for money in the name of
‘private security’. It’s amazing what people may pay B.A. to do. Male or female. A rough and gruff character.

HOST’S GUIDE
MAKING THE INVITATIONS:
Before the party, each guest must receive three things: (1) the invitation, (2) a copy of the Reunion News
and (3) the character description you have chosen for that guest.
THE INVITATION
• To make the invitations, print out the number of invites that you need onto 8.5 x 11 paper.
(You may print on nicer paper, such as parchment, to add authenticity to the invitation.)
• Fold each invite in quarters.
• Fill out the information for the place, date and time of your party.
• Make sure to put a half hour window of time when you want the guests to arrive.
• Invite should fit nicely into an invitation sized envelope (4 3/8” x 5 3/4” ).
THE REUNION NEWS
• If you wish to conserve printer ink you can either color copy the first version of the newsletter (page 9) or print the
second version of the newsletter (page 10). If you wish for the second version to be more authentic, you can photocopy
or print it onto high-quality paper.
CHARACTER DESCRIPTION
• You need to assign each guest a character to be at the party. (See the previous sections)
-- You may also utilize the downloadable invitations provided for you on the website after purchase. Each invitation is a
pdf that has the above information for each character. This allows you to email your guests their information directly with-
out having to print and mail the information. Please keep in mind that there is not a place to enter in the date, time or ad-
dress of the party within the emailable invite, so you will have to inform your guests of that information in another fashion.

PREPARING FOR THE PARTY:

• Cut out and make name tags for the guests. (You can print out the name tags onto on adhesive label paper
or print out on regular paper and include a pin with the name tags so that the guests can secure them to
their outfits.) Name tag template is compatible with Avery labels 15163, 18163, 5163, 5263, 5523, 5663,
5963, 8163, 8253, 8463, 8663 and 8763.
• Photocopy the print out of the money onto green paper. You will need as many copies as there are guests
attending. Trim out the money and bundle in packages of $500.
• Cut the objective sheets in half on the dashed lines.
• For each character, label two envelopes with the character’s name. Label one envelope with an (A) “Open
upon arrival” and one with a (B) “DO NOT open until AFTER the murder” for each character.
In the (A) envelopes, place: a name tag, safety pin(s) to adhere the name tag, a bundle of money, the left side of
the character’s objective sheet that has objectives for the beginning of the party.
In the (B) envelopes, place: the right side of the objective sheet for each character, which has objectives for
after the murder happens. In addition, place the following:
— Exhibit A & B in Terry Johnson’s (B) envelope — Exhibit D in B.A. Barricade’s (B) envelope
— Exhibit C in Byron P. Keaton’s (B) envelope — Exhibit E in Bobbie Bright’s (B) envelope
Have the (A) & (B) envelopes on hand to give to the guests as they arrive.
• Place the solution in a sealed envelope and label it solution.
• Keep the copy of the introduction, the investigation instructions, the evidence presentation and the solution
envelope in a safe place where you can hand them out throughout the night to the guests as they need them.
• Make enough copies of the Who Dunnit voting sheets for the number of guests you have coming. Cut the
pages along the dashed lines.
• Make copies of the smoking gun award, as their may be multiple people who guess the murderer.
– You can print or photocopy the certificates onto parchment paper for a more official look.
– You can input the names of the winners into the awards before printing the certificates.
Please check our party tips page for more music,
food and theme suggestions for your party!

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS
• Most likely, the length of the party will take 2-4 hours. The party length will depend on a number of factors,
including the number of guests, if you are serving dinner, how well your guests mingle, etc.
• The party may be longer if you choose to serve dinner, although much of the mingling done during Stage 2 may
be done at the dinner table as well.
• Because the party is not pre-scripted, but set up in stages, as host it is important to observe the guests’ behavior
and move onto the next stage when you feel it is most appropriate. This will give everyone enough time to enjoy
all aspects of the party and enable it to move along at an enjoyable pace.

STAGE 1: THE GUESTS ARRIVE

• You, as host, will need to give each guest their (A) envelope that includes their money, name tag, a safety
pin and their objectives for the beginning of the party.

STAGE 2: INTRODUCTION
• After all the guests have arrived, hand Nick Nixon the introduction and have him read it to everyone.
• Have time for guests to mingle and complete their objectives.
• This may be as little as a half hour to an hour depending on how well your guests know one another.
• If serving dinner, this may be a good time for dinner to be served.

STAGE 3: THE MURDER & INVESTIGATION

• When guests start to settle down and you are sure the victim has completed all of their objectives, arrange
for the lights to go off and a loud thud to sound.
• When the lights come back on, the victim will be dead and Terry Johnson will announce to everyone that
the investigation is about to take place.
• Give Terry Johnson tape, so that they can outline the body.
• Have Terry Johnson read the sheet explaining the investigation out loud to everyone.
• You, as host, will hand everyone their second (B) envelope that you have prepared. This envelope will have
new information and objectives for the guests to complete now that the murder has occurred.

STAGE 4: EVIDENCE PRESENTATION

• When guests have settled down again, and you feel as though most people have completed their objectives,
gather your guests together and have the hall monitor read the evidence presentation. Different characters
will offer up what they know and the evidence in their possession.
• It is best if the evidence is then laid on a table so that everyone may see it.
• Give your guests additional time to review the evidence.
• Hand out and have everyone fill out the ‘Who Dunnit’ answer sheets during this time.

STAGE 5: THE SOLUTION

• When all the ‘Who Dunnit’ sheets are handed in, hand Terry Johnson the solution and have them read it
aloud to the guests.
• Calculate who the winners are and award the certificates.

WELCOME TO THE PARTY

INTRODUCTION TO THE GUESTS

(To be read by Nick Nixon after all of the guests arrive.)

Hello and welcome to the 25 year class reunion for James D. Murder High. I am amazed to say
that it has been twenty-five years since we all graduated high school and boy have we come a long
way! Amongst us tonight, we have everyone from Hollywood directors to acclaimed accountants
to beauty queens to the local gym teacher. As graduates, we have all chosen different paths for
ourselves, but they all started right here at Murder High.
For those of you who don’t remember me, I am Nick Nixon, your senior class president.
And while I had a hand in organizing this event as your class president, I was also very busy
campaigning. I do, however, want to thank _______________ for stepping up and putting all the
(put host’s name here)
details together. You can see them with detailed questions tonight.
While you get reacquainted with your classmates, I am going to ask that you please keep
your eye out for your classmates going above and beyond their calls of duty. Along with the
other festivities in store for you tonight, you will also be asked to vote on classmates who have
made your night most enjoyable by their costume, their acting ability and the amount of money
that they end up with at the end of the night. As you may or may not know, bribery, extortion,
blackmail and whatever creative means you may have to use your money are not only expected, but
encouraged here at your class reunion.
Please carry on getting reacquainted with all of your old classmates. I am sure that you all have
some catching up to do with one another before the real excitement begins.
Thank you.

THE INVESTIGATION

DIRECTIONS TO THE GUESTS

(To be read by Hall Monitor to all the guests after the murder.)

As you can all see, there was a murder that just occurred amongst us all. The victim was Mr.
Steve Spielson, your old classmate who is now a famous movie director.
At this time, I need to ask for your full cooperation in this investigation. It is imperative that
no one leave the premises as you are all considered suspects.
At the beginning of the party, you should have received an envelope marked “Do not open
until AFTER the murder”. You will want to open and read that information carefully. That
envelope will contain information, evidence and objectives for you to help you conduct your own
investigation. For some of you, it will give you bargaining and blackmailing power. For others, it
may be the secret that you indeed ARE the murderer. Conduct your investigation wisely and let
no one know your secrets that you ARE NOT to reveal. It is now that you will try to uncover the
possible motives that each of you may have for wanting Steve Spielson dead.
After I have questioned some of you and conducted my own investigation into this crime, I
will be presenting the tangible evidence that I have found and asking you to present any tangible
evidence that you may have into this crime. Everyone will then get a chance to examine the
evidence before you make a final accusation as to who the killer is among you. Until then, I
suggest you conduct your own investigation by questioning each other and uncovering possible
motives for the death of Steve Spielson.
Thank you and I will be addressing you when I have the evidence to show you and I am ready
for you to reveal your own. Until then, start sleuthing!

MURDER HIGH CLASS REUNION

NICK NIXON
As the student class president for James D. Murder High Class of 1985 your history proves
that you have always been a politician at heart. As class president, you made sure that your class
was a class that got everything they deserved.
After graduation, you went on to study political science in college with your high school
sweetheart, Nancy. Nancy was the class vice president in high school and she has always been
loyal and devoted to you and your career. Nancy is what you considered the “perfect political
wife” which is the primary reason the two of you wed after college. Even currently, Nancy is
very determined to become the next first lady, and will do whatever is necessary to help you get
elected President.
After starting your career as a politician, you have advanced quite quickly from one office to
the next. Shortly after beginning your career on the city council, you were elected mayor. After
your term as mayor, you decided to campaign for the Senate and won a seat in the assembly. You
have been very popular as a senator and you are currently campaigning for the presidency. Thus
far, you have acquired amazing support from your political and social contacts. One of your per-
sonal contacts in which you have found much financial support is your former classmate, Steve
Spielson. Steve was the audio visual geek in high school and has since found fame as a Holly-
wood movie director. Steve is politically aware and has been using his finances and his fame to
help back your campaign. Because of his support, you have been spending a lot of time with him
and his girlfriend, Cindy Crawfish, lately.
Although at first it seemed like a good idea to spend a lot of time with Steve and Cindy, your
close ties may actually damage your campaign. Because of your relationship with this couple,
Cindy has become knowledgeable and suspicious of your relationship with Mike Majesty, an-
other classmate and also an executive at the local power plant. Mike has been lobbying for a bill
that will increase the capabilities of power plants, but damage the environment in the process.
Morally you are against this, but with the right amount of money allocated from Mike, you are
sure that you can find a way to justify voting for the bill. While you have managed to keep your
ties with Mike from Steve, Cindy has observed your relationship with Mike and has threatened
to expose it to both Steve and the media. Since you are running on a strong environmentally-
friendly platform and this relationship may damage your campaign, you have paid Cindy to keep
her quiet.
With your 25 year class reunion quickly approaching, you are anxious and excited to see all of
your former classmates. At the reunion, you hope to gain even more support for your campaign.
Because the event is not in D.C., you have employed B.A. Barricade, the class punk who now
runs their own private security business, to be your bodyguard for this event. Even though you
are a rising politician, you do not have the level of security that you would prefer.

Acting and Dressing Your Part You are a politician at heart and love to campaign. Act
confident and don’t be shy about letting people know you are running for the presidency and
would appreciate their support. Come dressed not only as the class president, but as a presiden-
tial candidate—red, white and blue to the max. For more ideas on how to dress and a glossary of

MURDER HIGH CLASS REUNION

NANCY NIXON
In high school, you were vice president of the student council with your boyfriend, Nick
Nixon, who was the president. Your romantic relationship started on the student council and
the two of you have been inseparable ever since.
After high school, you attended a university together where you both studied political sci-
ence. Considering yourself the “perfect political couple”, you knew that Nick was not much
without you by his side. After college, you graciously supported your husband while he ran
and was elected for city council, mayor and now sits in Congress as a senator. Because Nick
has been so successful, he is currently campaigning to become the next president. Since you
have always dreamed of being the first lady, you couldn’t be more proud of your husband and
excited about his campaign!
Because you do not want anyone jeopardizing Nick’s chance at the presidency and, more
importantly, your chance at being the first lady, you have been very weary of outsiders associat-
ing with Nick. Just the other day, you saw B.A. Barricade (the class punk and Nick’s occasional
security guard) snooping around where they shouldn’t be. You plan to monitor B.A.’s actions
and make sure that they are not up to something that could sabotage Nick’s campaign. In ad-
dition to the relationship with B.A., Nick has also been spending a lot of time meeting with
Steve Spielson, Cindy Crawfish and Mike Majesty. Because Mike Majesty has always struck
you as a corrupt fellow, you are suspicious of Mike’s motives for meeting with your husband.
Additionally, you simply don’t trust Cindy Crawfish, either, since she is very flirtatious with all
members of the opposite sex.
With your 25 year high school reunion quickly approaching, you are anxious and excited
to reunite with all of your old classmates. The reunion will be a good place to assess what are
the real relationships between Nick and B.A., Cindy, Steve and Mike (all former classmates).
Additionally, the reunion will also be a good time to investigate further and possibly confront
B.A. Barricade on their suspicious behavior as well.

Acting and Dressing Your Part: To the reunion, you will come dressed as the digni-
fied and elegant woman that you are. At the party, be sure to be supportive and overprotective
concerning your husband and his political endeavors. Nick would not have the political career
that he has without you and you don’t want him sabotaging your chances at being the first
lady. For more ideas on how to dress and a glossary of totally tubular eighties words and phrases to use

MURDER HIGH CLASS REUNION

JOE NEBRASKA
As the class jock in high school, you were well known and well liked because of your amaz-
ing athletic abilities. It is only appropriate that you are now married to Natalie Nebraska, the
head cheerleader from high school. You met Natalie in high school your senior year after you
had a string of relationships, many with the girls on the cheerleading and pompom squads.
Natalie has minimal knowledge of your previous relationships and due to her competitive and
jealous nature, you are fearful of what she might do if she ever found out about your past girl-
friends. Although you dated multiple women in your past, you were always faithful when you
were in a relationship and never cheated, especially on Natalie.
After high school, you wanted to stay close to Natalie so you continued on with your
football career at the local community college. It was there that you reconnected with Pamela
Abdul, a pompom girl from your high school. Although the two of you were never romanti-
cally involved, you were considering breaking up with Natalie to see what might come of
your relationship with Pamela. It was then, however, that Natalie insisted that she wanted to
commit and start a family immediately. Feeling pressured, you proposed and were soon mar-
ried. Shortly after the wedding, Natalie became pregnant with your child and then miscarried.
Although you have been trying to start a family ever since your wedding night, you have been
incapable of conceiving a child. Currently, you are the P.E. teacher and football coach at Mur-
der High, the same high school that you attended. Everything has come full circle for you and
you have never left your hometown.
The closest you have ever come to any sort of fame is when you were portrayed (poorly) in
a film that was made by one of your old classmates, Steve Spielson. Steve was a geek on the
audio visual squad (back when educators relied on movie projectors in schools) who became
a famous movie director. Steve’s first blockbuster hit was a movie based on his experiences in
your high school. Unfortunately for you, Steve Spielson portrayed you, and two of your friends,
Mike Majesty (the prom king) and Judd Jenson (the stud), as big goons. You will never forgive
or forget the poor portrayal of yourselves in the movie and the three of you have made a pact
for revenge on Steve Spielson years ago.
Currently, you are not excited about coming to your high school reunion, however, your wife
is. Because of Natalie’s excitement, you feel you should attend. At the reunion you will face
many who have financially successful careers and, regardless of this fact, you are determined to
have a good time at the reunion with your buddies and to rehash all of the years of your all-star
past.

Acting and Dressing Your Part: As one of the most popular people in high school,
you are confident, cool and cocky. To the reunion you will want to come dressed with your
varsity jacket, football jersey or some other sports apparel that will make everyone remember
what a great sports hero you were to this school. Be sure to bring a trophy from one of your
many achievements. For more ideas on how to dress and a glossary of totally tubular eighties words

MURDER HIGH CLASS REUNION
NATALIE NEBRASKA
Because you were always the most cheerful little girl growing up, your parents enrolled you
in cheerleading as soon as you were old enough to compete. Starting to cheer at such a young
age has fueled your competitive side and given you a need to always be the center of attention.
In high school, “head cheerleader” was your identity. As the head cheerleader, you were very
popular among your peers and you were always dating the senior jocks, which is where you met
your husband, Joe Nebraska. Joe was the captain for football your senior year and the two of
you started dating then and have been together ever since.
Because of your popularity in high school, you believe that everyone admired you and you
are looking forward to reuniting with your old classmates. Among your arch rivals in high
school were the pompom squad girls. You were rivals with the pompom girls simply because
you had to share the field with them (and ended up sharing their boyfriends as well). You were
also not very well-liked with some of the less popular girls like Myra S. Keaton (the math team
cheerleader) whom you often teased.
After high school, you went on to cheer at the local community college where Joe played
football. It was at that community college where, unbeknownst to Joe, you dated a few other
men, including one with Steve Spielson from your high school. While Steve fell hard for you,
you were not in love with him and ended your relationship to pursue a committed relationship
with Joe Nebraska. Fearing Joe would be upset you were dating two guys at once (him and
Steve), you never told Joe of your relationship with Steve.
Desiring to be married, you insisted that you wanted to start a family right away when, in
reality, you did not. Reacting to your wants, Joe proposed and you were immediately married.
When you did not immediately conceive, Joe became suspicious of your antics so you faked a
pregnancy and a miscarriage so that Joe would not suspect you lied to him in order to get him
to propose. After all these years, you still do not have a desire to have children and you have
not shared that with your husband for fear he may leave you.
Currently, you are a manager at a local discount store. Because of your positive nature, you
are very proud of your job. Over the years, you have kept in contact with some of your class-
mates, but not your ex-beau, Steve Spielson. The only thing you know about Steve is that he
is went on to be a director and made a film based on his experiences in your high school. Your
husband, Joe, saw the film and was very upset about how he and his friends, Mike Majesty and
Judd Jenson, were portrayed. Since seeing the movie, Joe, Mike and Judd have vowed revenge
on Steve for creating it. Because of this pact, you are worried about what your husband might
be planning for the reunion.
With your 25 year class reunion quickly approaching, you are excited to see and to get
reacquainted with your old classmates. You can’t wait to see what Pamela Abdul (the pompom
squad leader) and Myra S. Keaton (the math team cheerleader) have done with their lives—
you are sure you are much happier than they.
Acting and Dressing Your Part: Everybody remembers you as the cheerleader, so it
would be best to come dressed in your cheerleading uniform. You are annoyingly enthusiastic
and chipper about everything– it’s just your nature. Don’t forget to bring your pompoms!

PAMELA ABDUL
As the leader of the pompom squad in high school, dance was your life. With you as the
pompom captain senior year, you led your squad to the national championships. Because of
your excellent achievements, you always considered your squad superior to the cheerleading
squad since the cheerleaders did not even qualify for the state competition. For that, and other
reasons, you and Natalie Nebraska, the head cheerleader, have never gotten along. Among
other reasons Natalie has to dislike you is the fact that in high school (and after) you were
good friends with Joe Nebraska, the class jock who is now her husband. Although you have
always had romantic feelings for Joe, the two of you were never romantically involved because
of his devotion to Natalie.
Since high school, you have gone onto fame and fortune in the world of choreography.
Shortly after community college, you moved to California where you have been working as
a choreographer. Instantly, your career blossomed and you have choreographed many music
videos with the latest music artists.
Although you are not currently dating anyone, you have always had romantic feelings for
Joe Nebraska, the jock. Even though Joe has always been faithfully devoted to Natalie, she
has not always been faithful to him. While you were attending the same community college
as Natalie, it was common knowledge that Natalie had a string of relationships, including one
where she was dating Steve Spielson (the a.v. geek from high school) while she was also dat-
ing Joe. Although you wanted to alert Joe of Natalie’s multiple relationships, you chose not to
ruin Joe’s happiness. Shortly after, Joe proposed and was married to Natalie when she voiced
wanting to start a family together. However, in the years that have passed Joe and Natalie have
not started a family and you suspect Natalie lied about her desire to have a family in order to
get Joe to propose to her. With the reunion quickly approaching, your old feelings for Joe have
reappeared. It may be the right time to reveal some truths about the past and to try to win the
heart of the man that you adore.
It has been 25 years since you have seen many of your classmates. You are curious to see the
different paths that everyone has taken with their lives and how everyone may have changed.
Most of all, you are excited to see if Joe may still have some feelings for you.

Acting and Dressing Your Part: You were part of the popular crowd in high school,
so you are confident and cocky. You believe that everyone admires you…everyone except Nata-

MURDER HIGH CLASS REUNION

MOLLY RINGWORM
In high school, you were known as the drama queen– a reputation you have more than lived
up to. When you walk into a room you feel as though everyone must have their eyes on you.
Throughout your adolescence, you were the star of all the plays AND musicals and you now
have a blossoming acting career.
Upon graduating high school you moved to Los Angeles to seek out an acting career. There
you waited tables and auditioned for any director that would consider you for a part. Desperate
to get your professional acting career started, you bribed Steve Spielson (the audio visual geek
from high school who was trying to make his way as a director) to act in one of his films. Un-
fortunately, your experience with Steve did not advance your career and you have not worked
with him since.
After many years in Los Angeles (and many bribes), you finally landed a full time job on
the soap opera, The Brash and The Brutal, where you assumed the role of a psychotic lawyer
who is a serial killer. After five years on The Brash and the Brutal, you have just won your first
daytime Emmy and you are getting noticed around Hollywood because of your popular role.
In fact, you were just cast for a leading role in a new Disney movie that will be coming out,
a blockbuster hit if ever there was one. This film is SURE to be the film that will make your
career!
Although there was a 10 year class reunion, you did not attend it because you did not want
to admit that your acting career had not advanced. Now at the 25 year reunion, you are proud
of all that you have accomplished and you are ready to flaunt it. With your upcoming role in
the Disney movie, you consider yourself very important in Hollywood– a feeling you would
not sacrifice for anything. Recently, Steve Spielson has contacted you, wanting you to act in his
upcoming movie. Although Steve is respected now, you want no one to know how your career
started with favors and bribery- so you have declined his offer.
With your 25 year reunion approaching, you are anxious to see all of your old classmates
and you are ready to show them how successful you have become. Daytime TV and the Hol-
lywood scene would suffer tremendously without you in it.

Acting and Dressing Your Part: As a Hollywood star, you demand attention whenever
you walk into a room. At the reunion you will want to act confident and arrogant all the while
being overly nice and fake. Your outfit should include a number of gaudy accessories and an
over-the-top dress as a true soap opera star might wear. You may even want to bring some
pictures of some Hollywood stars that you refer to as your friends. BE SURE TO BRING
your daytime Emmy with you (or a trophy you can refer to/use as your emmy). For more ideas

MURDER HIGH CLASS REUNION

MIKE MAJESTY
As one of the most popular and well-liked guys in high school, you were voted prom king.
All through high school you were good friends with Joe Nebraska (the jock) and Judd Jenson
(the stud) and the three of you “ruled the school” by senior year. It was in your senior year
when you met your wife, Mallory Majesty. Mallory had just transferred to Murder High from
a prep school and there was an instant romantic connection between the two of you. In the
springtime, you were both nominated to prom court and that is where the romance began.
It has been twenty-five years since prom and you are still with Mallory Majesty, although
now she is your wife. The two of you continue to live in the small town where you grew up.
As a top-level executive at the local power plant, you work for Mallory’s father who owns the
power plant. Because of Mallory’s controlling nature, she often uses the fact that you work for
her father to get her way. Currently, you are using your connections in Congress to lobby for
a bill that will help expand the capacities of the power plant. This bill is not environmentally
friendly, but if passed, the bill will increase your profits exponentially and make you an instant
millionaire. To insure that the bill gets passed through Congress you have been bribing Nick
Nixon, a senator and also your old class president, to support your bill. Since Nick is running
for president on an environmentally-friendly platform, you have had to keep the nature of your
relationship with him secret until he is elected. You hope that Mallory’s inquisitive nature does
not sabotage your deal.
As a resident in your home town, you continue to keep in contact with your close friends
Judd Jenson and Joe Nebraska. The three of you have all chosen to lead simple lives since high
school, unlike some of your starstruck classmates. To this day your only “brush with fame”
came ten years ago when you were portrayed poorly in a film that one of your classmates (Steve
Spielson) made based on his experiences at your high school. Because of the poor portrayal of
you and your friends in the film, you and your buddies have vowed revenge on Steve but don’t
know if you will ever get it. After all, Steve is much more successful now than any of you three.
As the reunion approaches, you are looking forward to attending. As a successful business-
man, you want everyone to see your accomplishments. Mallory, your wife, is also excited to
attend the reunion and insists that you come dressed as you were 25 years ago on prom court
with your crown and all.

Acting and Dressing Your Part: Because you consider yourself very well-liked, you
have a sense of arrogance and entitlement to you. To the reunion you will come dressed as the
prom king and you will not want to forget your crown and sash, as those will always define you
as how your classmates would remember you best. For more ideas on how to dress and a glossary of

MURDER HIGH CLASS REUNION

MALLORY MAJESTY
Even though you did not attend Murder High until your senior year, when you transferred
in you were immediately well-liked by all of your classmates, especially by Mike Majesty. As a
wealthy, popular and pretty teen, it was no surprise when you were voted prom queen.
After high school, you entered in the local beauty pageant which you won. As the city’s rep-
resentative, you went on to win your state’s beauty pageant title. In the Miss America pageant
you made it to the top ten finalists and you swear that it was a conspiracy that you didn’t make
it further!
After your loss at the pageant, you and your high school sweetheart, Mike Majesty, were
married. Mike was your prom king in high school and much like the jock married the cheer-
leader, you felt it was just right for you to marry your king.
Currently, Mike works as a top-level executive in the local power plant. Mike is employed
by your father who owns the power plant and also a great deal of the town that you still live
in. Lately, Mike has been keeping odd hours and you have questioned him on his business
practices. Mike has simply indicated that it is best you don’t know what he is up to. While you
want to trust your husband, you wonder what he could be up to and if it really is best for you...
Because you love having power in life, you exude much of it in your marriage. You are quick
to remind Mike that he would not have a job without you. The reminder usually helps you get
what you want.
As your 25 year high school reunion is swiftly approaching, you find yourself looking
forward to it more and more every day. At the reunion you suspect that a bit of drama will
occur. Over the years you have kept in contact with both Natalie Nebraska (the cheerleader)
and Pamela Abdul (the pompom squad leader). While Natalie is married to Joe Nebraska (the
football player), Pamela Abdul has always had romantic feelings for Joe Nebraska. Although
you are unsure what Pamela’s intentions are in attending the reunion, you would not be sur-
prised if Pamela were to try to cause conflict between Natalie and Joe. Natalie once dated
multiple men (including Joe) at the same time and you suspect Pamela will use the reunion to
make Joe aware of this fact. Even though you have known of Natalie’s multiple relationships
for years, you have never wanted to be the one to tell Joe of his wife’s deceitful ways. Natalie is
a very strong-willed individual and you fear what Natalie might do to you if you were the ruin
her “perfect” life.
Regardless of the drama that you anticipate at the reunion, you are excited to come to your
high school reunion. You want, again, to feel like the queen that you are.

Acting and Dressing Your Part: You are extremely confident and controlling, espe-
cially over your husband, Mike. As the former prom queen, you do not want anyone to forget
your title and that you should be treated like royalty, especially from your husband. Your prom
queen tiara and sash will make great accessories for your outfit to the party! For more ideas on

MURDER HIGH CLASS REUNION

BAILEY BABBLE
A rumor did not exist in high school that you weren’t aware of—in fact, you were respon-
sible for starting and/or spreading 95% of the rumors that circulated in your high school. For
whatever reason, people have always confided in you and you feel it is your obligation to make
their knowledge public. While you would not change your past or your personality, you fear
that your past may come back to haunt you at your high school class reunion if there are any
old classmates that are harboring grudges.
Currently, you work for the local newspaper as a gossip columnist and it is your job to
remain current on the personal and professional happenings in town. In regards to your for-
mer classmates, you know that Natalie Nebraska (the cheerleader) and Joe Nebraska (the jock)
were married only after Natalie insisted she wanted to start a family so that Joe would propose.
Following the wedding, you believe that Natalie faked a pregnancy and a miscarriage to satisfy
Joe’s desire to try to have children, when really Natalie has no desire for a family. (To this day
you are not certain that Joe knows the reality of Natalie’s falsehoods.)
In the past 25 years, you have also witnessed a few of your classmates breaking into the
Hollywood scene. The drama queen turned soap star, Molly Ringworm, is set to be starring
in an upcoming Disney movie and the audio visual squad geek turned movie director, Steve
Spielson, has had much success with many of his films. Additionally, Danny Drums and Sally
Sax (two marching band members) worked with Steve Spielson on a music score for one of
his movies. As the reunion approaches, you have found yourself very anxious to get the inside
scoop on what is happening in all of your famous classmates’ lives. Details on the lives of Hol-
lywood stars make great material for your column.
Your feelings of anxiety about the reunion come in part because you are excited but also
because you are a little nervous about seeing all of your former classmates that you have lost
touch with. You made a number of enemies with the rumors that you spread in high school
and you are unsure of what grudges people from the past may hold. (Who knows what one of
your rumors could have turned into?) Regardless, you are coming to your reunion to find out
the latest in everyone’s life and have some good material to write about.

Acting and Dressing Your Part: At the reunion, you hope to reunite with old friends
and acquaintances and learn what you can about their personal lives. During the party, you
hope to uncover (and spread) many truths that may help advance your career and social status.
As a reporter, you will want to questioning and nosy to all of the guests. You never know when
you many find the scoop that will make you famous! Have your notebook and pen ready for

MURDER HIGH CLASS REUNION

RANDY REPORTER
As the former yearbook and school newspaper editor, reporting has always been your pas-
sion in life. While others find it peculiar, you love to watch the complete behind-the-scenes
action and to be the primary resource of everyone’s knowledge—at least that is the way you
view your job. Currently you work as the Wall Street Journal’s main editor, but you got your
start in your career by working all four years of high school on the school paper. In high school
you reported everything from school sports to the P.T.A. meetings.
After studying journalism in college you gained experience by writing for a variety of pub-
lications (including entertainment magazines, GQ and Time) before landing your current job.
Currently, you are anxious to return to your hometown where you plan to reconnect with your
classmates and flaunt your success in your career at the reunion.
Another reason for your excitement regarding the upcoming reunion is that Nick Nixon
(your class president) who is campaigning the presidency, will be attending. Rumor has it that
a portion Nick’s campaign support is coming from some of your high school classmates (Steve
Spielson and Mike Majesty). Coincidentally, you find it odd that Nick would be aligning
himself with Mike Majesty since Nick is running on a strong pro-environment platform. Mike
Majesty is an executive at the local power plant and is strongly lobbying for a very environ-
mentally-unfriendly bill to be passed and their friendship could damage Nick’s campaign if
found to be corrupt.
With your reunion quickly approaching, you have been researching different lead stories
that you can investigate while attending the reunion. Although you doubt there will be a story
line worthy of the Wall Street Journal, you never know what will happen with a presidential
hopeful at the reunion.

Acting and Dressing Your Part: As a successful reporter, you are confident and as-

MURDER HIGH CLASS REUNION

BOBBIE BRIGHT
What high school reunion couldn’t be complete without the valedictorian? The one person
who was the smartest and proved it again and again Because of your confident attitude and
brilliant SAT scores, you have always had a sense of superiority that was only confirmed when
you were voted “most likely to succeed” in the high school yearbook. At graduation, you held
the highest GPA and you don’t want anyone to forget that fact.
After high school, you went to Harvard on scholarship but was unable to attain your
ivy league law degree. Instead, you dropped out of Harvard and completed your law degree
through an unaccredited online program. Currently, you have your own law practice which is
close to bankruptcy. Although the practice is losing money, you consider it a success since the
legality of your practice and your law degree are questionable at best.
With the high school reunion coming up, you were reacquainted with a few of your high
school classmates, Danny Drums and Sally Sax (two marching band members). When Danny
and Sally realized that you are a lawyer, they asked you to represent them against Steve Spiel-
son, another classmate who is now a movie director. Danny and Sally produced a music score
for Steve many years ago which was used in a movie he directed and produced. The movie be-
came a blockbuster hit and although Steve promised Danny and Sally royalties for their music,
he has not. The sum of the royalties that Steve owes is now in the millions and if you win the
law suit against Steve, this case could be your ticket out of near bankruptcy. The upcoming re-
union will be your first chance talk to Steve Spielson and inform him that you plan to sue him.
As your reunion approaches, you are not only looking forward to getting a chance to talk
to Steve one-on-one, but also being in an environment where you once again feel superior. In
high school you were academically number one and you don’t intend to let your classmates
forget it. Additionally, at the reunion, you intend to claim you are a Harvard graduate. Your
classmates do not need to know the truth about your education–it would be bad for business.

Acting and Dressing Your Part: Please come dressed as your studious and over-
achieving lawyer self and be sure to remind everyone of who you are. You may also want to
consider wearing your gown and/or mortarboard, as most may remember you from your gradu-
ation day when you spoke your words of wisdom to everyone. For more ideas on how to dress and

MURDER HIGH CLASS REUNION
STEVE SPIELSON
You were deemed a geek early on in high school when you took on the important duties of running the
audio visual equipment (back when there were film projectors that needed to be toted from one classroom
to another). As the leader of the audio visual (a.v.) squad in high school, you were readily ridiculed by the
popular kids in high school, but you knew greater things would come from keeping current with the latest
technology.
Upon leaving high school, you went off to expand your vast knowledge of technology that you acquired in
high school. You started off small, contracting for a small in-house studio. You produced and directed a few
movies in that studio to gain experience while you were developing your screen writing skills. While at this
studio, you hired Molly Ringworm to act in a film, but only after she bribed you. Her performance was less
than stellar and you both parted ways. After working for that studio, you went on to study film making at the
community college and began shooting your own independent films.
It was at that small community college that got better acquainted with and had a short-lived relationship
with Natalie (the cheerleader) while she was also dating Joe Nebraska (the jock). It took you by surprise when
Joe Nebraska proposed marriage and Natalie quickly broke off her romantic ties with you. Hence, you have
never quite got over the heartbreak. Because of your resentment of Joe Nebraska, you made him the target
of humiliation in your first big Hollywood blockbuster. For your first big film, you produced a movie based
on your experiences at Murder High. In the film you mocked some of the students including Joe Nebraska
(the jock), Judd Jenson (the stud), and Mike Majesty (the prom king). Because of the poor portrayal of their
characters, you are aware that your classmates may still hold some resentment for you.
After producing the film about Murder High, you have gone on to produce a number of blockbuster
hits. Today, you are considered one of Hollywood’s hottest movie directors and have many projects in the
works.
With your 25 year high school reunion coming up, you are intrigued and anxious to attend. At the
reunion, you plan to show your former classmates the success that you have achieved in life, both finan-
cially and personally. Among others you don’t wish to see at the reunion are Danny Drums and Sally Sax
(two marching band members). Danny and Sally produced music for a film of yours and you have yet to
pay them the royalties that you originally promised to them. At the reunion you do expect to see Byron
P. Keaton, the math team captain from high school who has become your personal accountant. Byron has
done a great job of managing your finances over the years. You will be attending the reunion with your
girlfriend, Cindy Crawfish (the flirt). Although you and Cindy have started a monogamous, romantic
relationship, you suspect Cindy is keeping secrets from you with Nick Nixon, the class president who is
running a presidential campaign—a campaign you have helped to fund none the less! To validate your
suspicions, you have hired a private security guard (B.A. Barricade) to find out what you can about her
behavior. B.A. has indicated that they have evidence that proves Cindy’s deceit and B.A. plans to turn it
over to you at the reunion. Immediately, when you receive this evidence, you plan to end your relationship
with Cindy.
Despite your questionable trust in Cindy, you are excited to go to the reunion. Being that you are going to
be the most famous person at the reunion, you want to make sure that EVERYONE knows it.

Acting and Dressing Your Part: In high school you were known as a geek, but have since
revamped your image. To the reunion you will come a s the new, confident ego-maniac that you are.

MURDER HIGH CLASS REUNION

BYRON P. KEATON
In high school, you were the math team captain and considered yourself the king of calcu-
lators, the devil of derivatives. No one could add, subtract, multiply or divide faster or better
than you and you knew it. Of course, you weren’t the most popular guy in high school, but you
were cool in your own mind and in the eyes of your girlfriend, Myra. Myra was the math team
cheerleader and she supported you at every math meet all four years of high school.
Since high school, you have become a highly paid accountant and do most of your work for
a very successful movie director, Steve Spielson. In high school Steve was an audio visual squad
geek and you acquired his business shortly after high school when he was starting his career
in filmmaking. At the time, taking Steve on as a client was risky because Steve Spielson wasn’t
shooting the most clean or successful films. In the years since, Steve has gone on to make many
blockbuster hits and your risk has paid off. Currently, you are making millions working for
Steve and controlling his finances.
While you work intimately with Steve Spielson’s finances, you do not always agree with his
financial decisions. Currently, Steve has allocated a great deal of money to supporting the cam-
paign for Nick Nixon (the class president and presidential candidate) and you consider Nick a
shady fellow. Further, you do not trust some of the acquaintances that Nick keeps, like Mike
Majesty. Mike is an executive at the local power plant and you find that his environmentally
unfriendly agenda conflicts with Nick’s political platform.
With your 25 year high school reunion quickly approaching, you are excited to attend and
to see all of your old classmates. Among your classmates, you are certain that only a small
number of them are as financially successful as you are and you are looking forward to flaunt-
ing your wealth to those who are not.
Additionally, you will be attending the reunion with your high school sweetheart and wife,
Myra S. Keaton. The two of you are inseparable. At the reunion you anticipate gloating for
you are both wealthy AND happy. However, you are going to try to avoid two marching band
members, Danny Drums and Sally Sax. Danny and Sally produced a score of music that Steve
used in one of his blockbuster hits many years ago. Steve has yet to pay the duo the royalty
money that he promised them. Lately, Danny and Sally have been threatening a law suit if
their money is not paid in full and you are worried that they might come through on their
promise.

Acting and Dressing Your Part: Even though many years have passed since high
school, you have not changed much in sense or in style. While some call you calculating, you
prefer to be known concise, articulate and demanding. As a true lover of math, be sure to re-
member your pocket protector, protractor and calculator– you never leave home without them.

MURDER HIGH CLASS REUNION

MYRA S. KEATON
There is nothing you wanted more in high school than to be accepted. However, you
weren’t quite popular enough to hang around with the cheerleaders and you weren’t quite smart
enough to join the math team. So you decided to start the math team cheerleading squad and
made yourself captain. Instant success! It was through the math team cheerleading squad that
you met and started dating the captain of the math team, Byron P. Keaton. It was also because
of the math team cheerleading squad that the varsity cheerleaders became somewhat jealous of
you and having to share the attention with another squad.
Since high school, you have gone on to marry your high school sweetheart (Byron P.
Keaton) and the two of you have become incredibly happy AND wealthy. For his career, Byron
decided to utilize his amazing math skills and has become a very successful accountant. Shortly
after high school Byron took on Steve Spielson, a high school friend of yours, as a client. Steve
Spielson was a geek on the audio visual squad in high school, but since has become a great
movie director. Over the years, Byron has handled all of Steve’s finances and because of Steve’s
successes, Byron has made millions managing his finances and investments. While your hus-
band’s employment from Steve has made him millions, you do question some of Steve’s finan-
cial decisions. Currently, Steve is spending a great deal of his income backing Nick Nixon (the
class president) in his candidacy to become the United States president.
Since high school you have not had contact with anyone accept for those who do work with
Byron P. Keaton and Steve Spielson. Danny Drums and Sally Sax, the marching band couple,
are the two people that you have had contact with and that you want to avoid at the reunion.
Evidently, Steve owes Danny and Sally a large sum of money and they have been bothering
Byron in an attempt to make Steve pay up for the money he owes. Danny and Sally have even
threatened to get a lawyer if you didn’t meet their financial demands.
With the reunion quickly approaching, you can’t wait to go! At the class reunion you want
to show all the cheerleaders how successful you are and you hope they aren’t TOO jealous of
you!

Acting and Dressing Your Part: You were a math team cheerleader in high school,
so dress as you would have for a math meet. You are attending the reunion with your husband
Byron P. Keaton, the math team captain, and you are devoted to him. Please come dressed in
your math team cheerleader outfit, complete with pompoms. Be sure to act better than varsity
cheerleaders and pompom girls at the reunion. For more ideas on how to dress and a glossary of

MURDER HIGH CLASS REUNION

CINDY CRAWFISH
“Too many men, too little time.” That was always and will always be your motto in life.
Even in high school you dated a number of the men, not limiting yourself to any one type—
in fact you have probably dated and/or kissed every male you will be seeing at your high
school reunion.
Currently, you live in the town where you went to high school and you own and operate an
online dating service. Although a number of your classmates still live in the same town, you
don’t commonly cross paths with them on a regular basis. Through your dating service, how-
ever, you recently set yourself up with Steve Spielson (from your high school) after his career as
a director became highly successful. Now that Steve is a world famous movie director, you are
proud to say you are dating him.
Regardless of your happy relationship with Steve, you are never satisfied with what you have
and you always desire more. Through your relationship with Steve, you have become reac-
quainted with Nick Nixon (the class president). Steve is a strong financial supporter of Nick’s
upcoming presidential campaign and has been working on documenting his campaign. While
in Nick’s office the other week, you saw a check made out to Nick from Mike Majesty (the
prom king), who also has an executive position at the local power plant. Knowing Nick’s strong
environmentally-friendly platform, you think that Steve would pull his support from Nick’s
campaign if he knew Nick was taking money from such environmentally-hazardous sources.
Since discovering this information, Nick has been paying you a hefty sum to keep his ties to
Mike a secret from Steve and the media.
You are excited to attend the reunion for the simple fact that you are now 25 years out of
high school and still as flirtatious as ever. While you believe you may run in to Judd Nelson
(the class stud), you have never reciprocated the feelings of affection that he has for you. At the
reunion, you will stay by the side of your new beau (Steve) while holding up your reputation as
the class flirt.

Acting and Dressing Your Part: Dress as trendy or as revealing as you want. In life,
you are used to getting by on your looks and your ability to attract and manipulate men, and
tonight is no different. You are constantly on the prowl for new and interesting men and to-
night may be your night to find Mr. Right (Now). For more ideas on how to dress and a glossary

MURDER HIGH CLASS REUNION

JUDD JENSON
You made your way through high school primarily on your looks and your personality alone.
You used females left and right to do your homework, your projects and to get you out of class.
On top of that, you flirted with teachers to win favoritism and dated certain girls purely to win
popularity. You were hated by most of the male population because of this, and a few females
as well. Cindy Crawfish (the flirt) seemed to be the only one who flirted and manipulated the
opposite sex better than you and you still feel bitter by that, and by her.
After high school, you have remained in your home town and continue to hang out with
your friends Joe Nebraska (the jock) and Mike Majesty (the prom king). You work for your
father at his used car dealership and you hope to take over the business one day. Although you
are happy, you had hoped for a bit more fame in your life. In fact, the closest you have got-
ten to fame is being portrayed (poorly) in a movie that was made by Steve Spielson, the audio
visual squad geek from high school. Steve Spielson wrote and directed a movie based on his
experiences at your high school and portrayed you and your two best friends as goons. The
three of you vowed revenge at the time, but you have never gotten over it.
While you have always been close with Mike Majesty, lately you have been wondering
about his friendship with Nick Nixon (the class president who is currently campaigning to
become the next U.S. president). With Mike’s current position at the local power plant, you
wonder if Mike is using Nick’s political power to help pass an environmentally unfriendly bill.
You are looking forward to coming to your 25 year high school reunion to see how far ev-
eryone has gotten in life and to find out what Cindy Crawfish is doing…you have always had a
crush on Cindy and you hope that she is still single after all of these years!

Acting and Dressing Your Part: As a true ladies man, you are confident and charm-
ing. Come to the reunion dressed to impress all of your old classmates, in particular Cindy

MURDER HIGH CLASS REUNION

B.A. BARRICADE
Every high school had a student who would not conform to the rules and at Murder High
that was you! You were the one person who wouldn’t get pushed around, who had to pick fights
and who always had to make sure that everyone knew that you were in the room. Despite
what others thought, you had earrings, tattoos and bright colored hair before it was ever cool.
Whenever anyone tried to tell you what to do, you would not obey. So why would you want to
go to this reunion? To show everyone how great being a punk has been and that you are still
the same after all these years– non-conforming and larger than life.
In addition to attending the reunion for personal reasons, you are also attending as part of
your job. Since high school you have started your own private security business. Among other
tasks, your occupation allows you to make a living by reaping havoc on anyone who poses a
threat to your clients. Recently, you have been hired as a personal bodyguard by Nick Nixon
(the class president). Nick is currently campaigning for the U.S. presidency and has insisted on
some added protection lately. What Nick doesn’t know is that you are also being paid to collect
information on him by Steve Spielson (an audio visual geek from high school). Steve suspected
that Nick was having an affair with Cindy Crawfish (Steve’s girlfriend) and Steve has hired
you to find out if his suspicions were correct. While you have observed Nick and Cindy secretly
meeting, there is nothing that indicates they are engaged in a romantic relationship. Rather, it
appears that Cindy may be blackmailing Nick, but for what reason, you are unsure.
Because you fear not getting paid for your bodyguard services by Nick if he finds out that
you have been spying on him, you need to keep your employment to Steve Spielson a secret
from Nick until Steve pays you for your time. The fees owed to you by Nick are a hefty sum
for you to lose, but so are the fees that Spielson has promised to pay you for spying on Cindy
and Nick—you are hoping to be paid by both men. Just last night, you let Steve know that you
have evidence proving that Cindy has been deceitful in nature. Steve agreed to compensate you
for your services, but only after receiving the evidence. You assured Steve that you have gath-
ered at the reunion.
Since you don’t really care about your classmates from high school, you are excited to come
to the reunion simply to collect your money. Whatever you do, though, you can’t let Nick Nix-
on know that you are spying on him for Steve Spielson, or you risk being paid by either client.

Acting and Dressing Your Part: As a non-conforming adult, you march to your own
drum. Even though you work for other people, you don’t take orders well. Come dressed as
your punked-out self, and consider a brightly colored mohawk, leather apparel, a dog collar,
studs and many piercings and/or tattoos as appropriate accessories to your outfit. For more ideas

MURDER HIGH CLASS REUNION

TERRY JOHNSON
As the hall monitor in high school, you received academic credits for wandering around
the halls and sending delinquents back to class. The power held as hall monitor intrigued
you because it made you feel like you could ‘rule the school’ (at least during the periods when
everyone was supposed to be in class). As hall monitor, the kids in the popular crowd would
frequently invite you to parties contingent on the fact that you would let them get away with
sneaking around. You often took the popular students up on such offers and it was the less
popular students you would send along to the principal’s office. For this fact, you hope that you
don’t run into any of these delinquents from high school at the reunion… of course that is a
chance you will have to take if you want to reunite with your former classmates.
Among the delinquents that you often crossed paths with is B.A. Barricade (the class
punk). Currently, B.A. runs their own private security business with many clients. B.A. will be
attending the reunion as both a classmate and a bodyguard to Nick Nixon (the class president).
You have also witnessed B.A. consorting with Steve Spielson (the movie director), but you do
not know why. While you hope that all of B.A.’s relationships are professional and legitimate,
you question them because of B.A.’s sordid past.
Since high school, you have gone on to your higher calling in life working for the police de-
partment as a traffic cop. You simply love policing the non-violent personalities. As the reunion
approaches, you are excited to attend!

Acting and Dressing Your Part: As the hall monitor from high school, feel free to
come dressed as you would have back then. At the reunion, you may want to wear your hall
monitor badge and question people about their whereabouts (since it is in your nature to do
so). You can download hall monitor passes to distribute through out the night at: http://www.
nightofmystery.com (in the party tips section under Murder High Reunion). Be aware that if a mur-
der occurs at the reunion, you will have to take over and conduct an investigation. It will come
natural to you as you are used to keeping things in order. For more ideas on how to dress and a
glossary of totally tubular eighties words and phrases to use at the party please see www.nightofmys-

MURDER HIGH CLASS REUNION

EVIDENCE PRESENTATION
(To be read by the Hall Monitor after everyone has
completed their second set of objectives and the Hall
Monitor has completed their investigation.)

As you all know, at approximately 8 p.m. tonight, Steve Spielson was found dead on the floor. After
an initial examination of the body, it is safe to conclude that Mr. Spielson was struck with deadly
force by a blunt object, thus ending his life prematurely.

After conducting my investigation and surveying all of the evidence brought before me, I have come
to find the following articles placed in and around the crime scene. These articles I feel have the most
bearing into making a judgment on the identity of the murderer. The evidence is as follows:

EXHIBIT A: ARTICLES FOUND IN VICTIM’S WALLET.

Upon examination of the body, I found four business cards along with a receipt for pizza in the
victim’s wallet. These business cards are that of Byron P. Keaton, Danny Drums, Sally Sax, B.A. Bar-
ricade and Molly Ringworm.

EXHIBIT B: A COPY OF BOBBIE BRIGHT’S LAW DEGREE.

This is only a copy of the degree and it was found in possession of the victim. The law degree was
issued by the Pace University School of Law.

EXHIBIT C: INVOICE FOR PAYMENT.

Exhibit C is an invoice that was turned over by Byron P. Keaton, the victim’s accountant. This invoice
shows that the victim owed Sally Sax and Danny Drums a great deal of money.

EXHIBIT D: PICTURES OF CINDY CRAWFISH & NICK NIXON.

This picture was handed over by B.A. Barricade. B.A. claims that they have been tracking Cindy
Crawfish on behalf of a client and found out that she was mysteriously meeting Nick Nixon, the class
president. We cannot confirm or deny B.A. Barricade’s claims at this point, nor is he obligated to give
up the name of their client who wanted Cindy followed.

EXHIBIT E: BLACKMAIL NOTE & CHECK

Bobbie Bright turned this note and attached check over to me. Bobbie claims that they found these
items earlier tonight on the floor.

Now if you would like, please take time in reviewing this evidence. The host will be handing out
sheets for you to accuse the guilty when you are ready.

MURDER HIGH CLASS REUNION

SOLUTION
(To be read by Hall Monitor after everyone
has submitted their accusations)

After reviewing the evidence, I have come to the conclusion that the murderer must be the class
drama queen, Molly Ringworm. I feel that Ms. Ringworm committed this act to keep Steve Spielson quite
about the fact that she started her acting career with bribery.

Although Ms. Ringworm gave a great performance tonight trying to mislead us in her intentions, I
have come to this conclusion based upon the following evidence:

• After seeing the signature on the receipt found in the victim’s wallet, I studied the handwriting on
the blackmail note only to realize that the note was written in the victim’s own handwriting. From that
fact, I deduced that the blackmail note was a note that Steve Spielson was intending to deliver tonight to
one of you.

• As the blackmail note states, the sender, that we now know is Steve Spielson, held a secret about one
of your careers that could potentially damage it.

• Attached with that note was a personalized check. If you compare the logo and address printed on
the check to the logo and address on Molly Ringworm’s old business card, you will see that the two of
them match up perfectly. Additionally, the check is noted to be written for “Career Advancement”.

• As Molly has stated tonight, she is going to be starring in an upcoming Disney movie. If word were
to get out that she started her career with bribery, it could be cause for scandal in Hollywood and she
will most likely be dropped from Disney. Thus, Molly had to keep her career start a secret if she wanted
to continue on in Hollywood and Molly must have felt that the only way to keep that secret was to hush
Steve Spielson who was threatening to let it out.

• Lastly, you will note that Steve was killed by a distinct blow to the head by a blunt object–this could
very possibly be Molly’s Emmy that she brought to the party tonight.
