Childcare very nicely and started to explore our learning July, 2020
environment indoor and out door. I have noticed that one
of very special disposition you obtain is caring nature.
Very often you have been seen holding a baby doll around.
Some other time you might be pushing a baby/doll in a
doll’s strollers. Through dramatic play with dolls you are
learning to be gentle and kind towards dolls as well as
other people. These also allows you to make sense of the
world around you. You notice what happens in real life and
then bring the same into your play.
Your caring nature towards the doll will definitely help you
to develop caring attitude towards people around you
especially towards your friends. I love to see this gentle
and caring side of you Rehan.
Rehan, we know that sometimes it’s hard for you to join in
group activities. But through playing with dolls you are
able to join in play that interest you. And also you will be
able to establish good relationships with your peers and
with your teachers in sha Allah.

Playing with dolls help children to gain important

social skills. By taking care of dolls they learn how
to take care of themselves and others. Another
important social skill that children learn when
playing with dolls is how to process emotions such
as empathy and compassion. Also caring for their
doll teaches responsibility and develop language
skills, it teaches them to empathize with those
around them and allows them to grow up into
caring people.
Rehan, caring nature is a good quality to have
especially as a Muslim. We will continue to provide
opportunities where you will be able to develop
your caring and loving nature further especially to
care for younger children and establish strong
relationships with your friends.
I would like to mention a Hadith, “ Believers to
have love and sympathy like one body. When a limb
complains, the whole body responds to it” (Muslim
and Bukhari).
