GSM BTS GPS CLK STATE TOOL Guidance

1. Tool Introduce
Inquire GPS clock state(lock/unlock, BTS lat/long) of BTS for BSCs in one M2000,
Syn/Asyn state and BTS lat/long information will be output as table in xls file.

BSC：V900R011C00 or later

M2000 Version Require：no version limited

2. Operation Guidance

2.1. Collect all BTS clock syn(lock) state for BSCs in M2000
Collect all BTS clock state for GBSC in network, please take the below steps for reference：

2.1.1. Log in M2000, select Maintenance –>iSStar-> Application Management:

2.1.2. Select , a dialog box will come, input a name:

2.1.3. Select ，create Local application，input Bookmark name，select script file

“GET_GBTS_GPS_CLK_STATE_V2.hsp”，click to open, click OK to confirm.

2.1.4. Right click to run script.

2.1.5. Select filter mode to confirm if BSC filter mode, other clock type information need
output to table.

2.1.6. When select“Choose GSM NE”，choose the BSCs required for the list
(BSC6900GSM/BSC6900GU/BSC6000 include in the list), click to Confirm

2.1.7. Wait till print window indicate to close：

2.1.8. Go to C:\iSStarReportOutput, open and check output result of the latest xls file.

Display result remark:

1、 Grey display N/A means it is not GPS clock type(need pre-select Need to
output)；
2、 Green display means Synchronized, current GPS clock state is in
synchronization or locked；
3、 Yellow display means Unsynchronized, GPS clock state is Unsynchronized or
unlocked；
4、 Orange display means get state failed, inquiry for GPS clock state & BTS
lat/long is not available, maybe BTS is not active or link is broken when
inquiring；

3. Problem feedback

1、 If have problem when using the tool, Please select and save the
print information as txt file;；

2、 Select the corresponding output table file with problem in path

C:\iSStarReportOutput；

3、 simple describing for the problem.
