HOW TO GAIN POINTS?

● Each online competition carries different points.

● Each team’s entry in respect of the online competitions and/

or online algorithm questions will be evaluated and points
are awarded accordingly.

● Participation in the various online competitions and/or online

algorithm questions can increase accumulation of points of
each team.

IMPORTANT NOTE:

● Only a maximum of three teams (formed with Participants of

same nationalities across all of teams) can qualify as part of
the Top 10 teams in each category.

● Teams that are tied will be ranked jointly on the

Competition’s leaderboard. Subsequent rank(s) below will be
left vacant depending on the number of teams ranked jointly.

Q: Other than Python, can we use other programming languages?

A: Yes! The most popular languages (Python, Java, Javascript, C,

C++, Golang, R) are supported for the competition. You may use any
language you prefer where applicable.

Q: I already have Kaggle account. Can I use what I have? Will there
be any username differences?

A: Yes! The individual username will not have any impact on the
competition. However, the team name used in the competition must
be the same as what you have registered.

Q: For each competition, do we need all team members to

participate in the Competition together?

A: Not necessary! However, we encourage all team members to

participate so that you can learn and have fun together. More brains
coming together can also solve the problems faster!

Q: Is there a certification at the end of the competition?

A: Yes, an online certificate will be provided at the end of the Shopee

Code League to all participants.

Q: I cannot find any details of the Competition on the website at the

moment. How do I participate?

A: The competition link will only be released on zoom real-time and

on the Telegram chat thereafter. The administrative details will be
released in the Weekly Announcement Email.

Q: What happens if I miss the training workshop?

A: Each training workshop is only conducted once. However, a

similar topic provided by another training partner could be
conducted later. So do look out for our Weekly Announcement
Newsletter for the details and sign-ups!

A: Yes! We encourage you to join as many training workshops as
