m a terials needed: With right sides facing, stitch doorstop sides A and B
together. Press seam allowances open.
1/4 yard x PATTERNED cotton fabric
1/4 yard x coNTRASTING cotton fabric B
2kg rice or dried split peas

All seams are 1/2”. All FABRIC in 44” – 45” bolts.

Fold straps in half lengthwise and stitch down the side

Le t ’ s g e t s t ar t ed and across one end. Turn right side out and press. Tack
unfinished ends to opposite sides of doorstop top.

Print and cut out the doorstop pattern pieces. Cut
one 18” x 5” rectangle for the doorstop side A and two 10”
x 3.25” rectangles for the handle ties. Cut both on the fold stitch
from the PATTERNED fabric.

Pin and stitch side to top

Now cut one 18" x 2.75" rectangle for the doorstop
