GENERAL OBJECTIVES:
Given actual or simulated situations/conditions, the students will be able to differentiate
normal from abnormal findings and utilize concepts, principles, techniques and appropriate
assessment tools in the assessment of individual client with varying age group and
development.

SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES:
1. To distinguish the specific landmarks that guides the appropriate assessment.
2. To plan with the client the proper preparation for the assessment including the position
and materials needed.
3. To implement the proper and correct techniques in neurological assessment.
4. To summarize the findings.

NEUROLOGICAL ASSESSMENT
6. Test for reflex using percussion hammer, comparing one side of
the body with the other to evaluate symmetry of the response.

Motor Function Assessment
