ARTICLES

Khi chỉ có một, danh từ được xem là số ít (singular). Trước danh từ phải dùng mạo từ (article)
a/an (một) hoặc the.
- an: đứng trước 1 nguyên âm, tiếng Anh có 5 nguyên âm : A, E, I, O, U
Ex: an apple, an orange, an egg, an ice-cream, an umbrella...
- a: đứng trước 1 phụ âm (b, c, d, ...)
Ex: a cat, a house...
- the: đứng trước 1 danh từ xác định (cái này học sau nhé)
* Lưu ý: nếu trước danh từ có tính từ xen vào thì a, an thay đổi theo tính từ đó.
Ex: a red apple, a big egg, an old house, an English book...
