BRASS BAND is an ensemble of woodwind, brass, and percussion instruments.
WOODWINDS
1. PICCOLO shorter than flute.
3. ALTO SAXOPHONE commonly used in classical music convert bands, chamber music, and solo
repertoire, military bands, marching bands and jazz bands.
BRASSWINDS
1. TROMBONE sound is produced when player’s vibrating lips cause the air column inside the
instrument to vibrate. It is a large trumpet.
2. TRUMPET has the highest register in the brass family.
4. SOUSAPHONE known as the bass, is a type of tuba designed to be easier than the concert tuba to
play while standing or marching.
PERCUSSION
1. CYMBALS consist of thin, normally round plates of various alloys.
2. SNARE DRUM known as a side drum is a ever present percussion instrument known for its
cylindrical shape and powerful staccato sound.
3. BASS DRUM produces a note of low definite and indefinite pitch. Known as percussion instrument
and vary in sizes.

town of Paete, Laguna in the Philippines.

BALISONG
Balisong a.k.a “The butterfly knife”
The balisong has long been known as a beautiful and unique weapon of the Philippines. Also known as the
Batangas knife, butterfly knife, clik clik knife and more, the balisong gets its common name from two words.
The first is bali, which means to bend or to break in Pilipino, and the second is song, derived from sungay, the
horn of the water buffalo.
The balisong was once entirely made from the easily carved, plastic-like buffalo horn. Because the knife folds
or bends and was made of this horn, the combination of words, balisong, became its name.
KIPING
Kiping is a traditional Filipino leaf-shaped wafer made from glutinous rice.
It originates from the city of Lucban, Quezon.
It is celebrated annually in the Pahiyas Festival. It can be eaten grilled or fried and can be dipped in sugar,
vinegar, or other sauces.
RIZAL PETROGLYPS
The Angono Petroglyphs are petroglyphs carved into a rock wall in Angono, Rizal, Philippines. It consists of 127
human and animal figures engraved on the rockwall probably carved during the late Neolithic, or before 2000
BC
The site has been declared by the National Museum of the Philippines as a National Cultural Treasure in 1973.
It is also included in the list of the World Inventory of Rock Art in 1985 and historic sites of the World
Monuments Watch and World Monuments Funds and part of the Philippines' tentative list of
the UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Set clear rules and be consistent. Be a good role model for your child. Talk to your child about sex, drugs, and
alcohol.

you a chance to help your child before problems become serious.
Encourage good nutrition and at least 1 hour of exercise each day. Good nutrition includes fruit, vegetables,
and protein, such as chicken, fish, and beans.
Limit foods that are high in fat and sugar. Make sure he eats breakfast to give him energy for the day.
