I. OBJECTIVES
At the end of the lesson, the students should be able to:
a. define intellectual property (SSHS);
b. identify and explain the different types of intellectual property (SSHS);
c. explain copyright, fair use, etc.vis-a-vis human rights (MIL11/12LESI-IIIg20);
d. discuss current issues related to copyright vis-à-vis gov’t./provide sectors actions
(MIL11/12LESI-IIIg21);
e. put into practice their understanding of the intellectual property, copy right, and fair
use guidelines (MIL11/12LESI-IIIg17);
f. explain actions to promote ethical use of media and information (MIL11/12LESI-
IIIg22);

II. SUBJECT MATTER:

b. References: Media and Information Literacy – module 7
c. Materials: Laptop, projector, pictures

III. PROCEDURES:
a. PRELIMINARIES
 Checking of attendances
 Classroom management

b. ACTIVITY
 The teacher will present 2 current events video and ask the following:
1. What is the video all about?
2. What is digital piracy?
3. why is digital privacy a crime?

c. ANALYSIS
 The teacher will group the class into 5 groups.
 The students will pick a pieces of paper in the box. The pieces of paper contain a
word that will determine their group and topic to be report and for the number, to
determine who will report for their group. Each group will be given 5 minutes to
prepare their output.

d. ABSTRACT
 To determine if the students understood the lesson, the teacher will ask the
following:
The teacher will randomly choose a student to answer every question by a slide
presentation.

1. It refers to creations of the mind, such as inventions; literary and artistic


works; designs; and symbols, names and images used in commerce.

IV. EVALUATION

 TRUE OR FALSE:
