This document provides guidelines for preparing and submitting laboratory reports for the CHE3001 Computational Methods in Process Engineering course. The reports must include the aim, theory, methodology, flow chart, MATLAB code, output, and results and discussion. They should be prepared in Word and submitted in PDF format. The document also includes examples of symbols used in flowcharts and a sample flowchart. Lab sessions involve being given a problem to solve using MATLAB code.

School of Chemical Engineering (SCHEME) VIT Vellore Date: 15 July 2020 Lab session guidelines • During lab session, a problem will be given to the student and the student has to write the code in MATLAB editor and run the program to get the desired output.
• The prepared report must be uploaded with in the dateline
given by the lecturer (generally before the next lab session).
• In case the student cannot able to finish the MATLAB code
with in the lab hour, can perform the coding later.
