Computer
 Computer is an electronic device that accepts data and instruction, store and processes it to
produce the required result.
 Data is the collection of facts and figures.
 Information is a collection of data.
 Computer mainly consists of hardware and software. Both of these work together to process
data.

Hardware
 Hardware is physical components (visible part) of the computer that can be seen and touched.
 Hardware classified into two – input and outputs
 Input devices are – mouse, keyboard
 Output devices are – sound speaker, monitor, printer
Parts of mouse

3. Right click

Software
 Software is the set of instruction that instructs the computer to do different tasks.
 System unit – is known as also case. It is the box that houses the process or chip.
