GradWalk 2020

We are pleased to be able to offer this opportunity for our seniors to walk across the
stage in their caps and gown and pick up their diplomas. Please read and follow these
instructions carefully to help make the day go smoother for all involved.

Day/Time/Location:

This event will take place at REV on Thursday, June 11th beginning at 9:00 A.M. We do
anticipate a long line of cars so please adhere to the following schedule:

9:00 Graduates with the last names of Abarca through Falgout

10:00 Graduates with the last names of Fischer through Lytle
11:00 Graduates with the last names of Macalino through Ricks
12:00 Graduates with the last names of Rivera through Ziska

What we need from our graduates:

● Dressed in cap and gown

● Mask (must be worn at all times. You will be able to remove for your
professional photo)
● Your name written clearly on a standard piece of paper (the way you
would like it to be read as you walk across the stage)
● Please be in the passenger seat of your vehicle for ease of exit/entrance.

Procedures: See map for specific locations

● Step #1: Campus safety will check to see that the Graduate has on cap/gown,
mask, and name written on standard piece of paper.

● Step #2: Graduate (only) will exit the vehicle. The vehicle will drive along next to
graduate

● Step #3: Graduate will hand name paper to reader and walk onto the stage to
pick up diploma cover. Turn and face vehicle for photo from family member.

● Step #4: Graduate exits stage and removes mask for professional photo (photo
information will be e-mailed to parents by GradImages).
● Step #5: Graduate gets back in vehicle and vehicle exits campus.
Important Information:

● Graduates must wear masks at all times except for professional photo
opportunity.

● Only the graduate is allowed out of the vehicle. Family members must stay in the
vehicle.

● ONE VEHICLE PER GRADUATE.

● The following types of vehicles are prohibited and will not be allowed on campus:
○ Motorcycle
○ Tractor-trailer
○ Limousine
○ Stretch SUV
○ ‘Party’ Bus or van
○ Bus
○ RV
○ Open bed trucks/trailers (it is illegal to ride in the back of these vehicles)

● The entrance to the drive-through graduation will be off of King Street. Please
see the map for traffic flow patterns

● The front (North) parking lots will be closed to the public

Diploma Information:

● Diploma Pick-up is scheduled for June 15th and June 16th from 9am until 11am:

 Mask must be worn at all times. One vehicle per graduate.
Step 1: Graduate, remaining in car, must stop by security to ensure that
student has name card as well as a mask.
Step 2: Graduate only, will exit the vehicle.
Step 3: Graduate will walk across the stage.
Step 4: Professional photographer will take Graduate’s photo.
Step 5: Graduate will get back in the car.
