I luoghi della lettura

Il progetto del MIBAC “Ottobre piovono libri. I luoghi della lettura” va imponendosi anno dopo anno, non soltanto come
appuntamento di straordinaria vitalità, ma soprattutto di pungolo a ricercare fonti di interesse sempre più diversificate.

Ed è in linea con questa esigenza che, nella programmazione delle manifestazioni promosse dal “Gruppo Anonimo ‘74”,
venerdì 5 novembre alle ore 18.00, i riflettori saranno puntati sul libro dei libri, la “Divina Commedia” di Dante Alighieri,
vista da due maestri dell’arte pugliese: Nicola Andreace di Massafra e Vincenzo De Filippis di Grottaglie.
Innumerevoli sono stati attraverso i secoli gl’illustratori delle opere di Dante, in primis, appunto, la Divina Commedia, i
cui versi prendono in esame le tensioni, le passioni, i risvolti affettivi e sociali della condizione umana. Andreace, nelle sue
opere in mostra, realizzate nel 1983 e ’84, con una tavolozza che attinge alla sua lunga esperienza sia nel campo della
pittura sia nel campo della grafica, componendo un affresco a tinte forti, dal taglio espressionistico, fa emergere la
concezione virile che Dante ebbe della vita, la sua estrema severità verso chi visse senza coscienza della dignità umana, la
sua ammirazione per i maestri che gli avevano insegnato come divenire eterni, malgrado le avversità, la sua constatazione
del desiderio naturale degli uomini a “seguire virtute e conoscenza”. Andreace nelle sue opere in esposizione, in una
modalità contemporanea, facendo un uso dinamico dello spazio e del colore, con improvvisi guizzi dell’immaginario,
attraverso suggestioni, impulsi e culture, riannodando il rapporto interrotto con il tempo, trasmette il misticismo della
Divina Commedia, afferma l’imprevedibilità della vita e l’eternità della poesia e dell’arte, patrimonio della società.

Vincenzo De Filippis intrattiene il suo colloquio con l’episodio più “gettonato”, quello di Paolo e Francesca (Inf. V)
modellando la terracotta in una visione dalle linee morbide, mettendo in luce tutta la forza poetica ed estetica, ivi
racchiusa. Con la sua opera, jntroducendoci in un’epoca, che richiede silenzio, raccontandoci l’episodio di amore e morte,
l’artista con rigore plastico, valendosi della sua esperienza artistica, dà fisicità, nuova vita e nuovi significati ad un
universo complesso, che indaga il tempo, il luogo, la passione dei due amanti, la pietà di Dante.
La serata sarà arricchita dagli interventi di Alberto Altamura, docente di latino e greco nei licei statali ed attualmente
dirigente scolastico dell’Istituto Tecnico Statale “E. Amaldi” di Massafra, il quale intratterrà il pubblico sugli aspetti
letterari, umanistici e filosofici della Divina Commedia; Aldo Galeano, responsabile del “Gruppo Anonimo ’74” di
Monteiasi, promotore dell’evento, che reciterà brani scelti dalle tre Cantiche, mentre Angelo Lippo, critico d’arte e poeta,
centrerà la sua relazione su “Dante nelle arti figurative” con particolare riferimento al contemporaneo.
Un appuntamento che sicuramente attirerà i tanti studiosi ed amatori del sommo poeta, che, grazie anche alle Letture
dantesche che si tengono in molte città d’Italia, continuano a tenerne sempre viva la memoria, ma anche a stimolare la
ricerca per nuovi e più intriganti approfondimenti.
Nicola Andreace ha documentato l’evento con un suo Manifesto, a cui ha aggiunto la seguente nota esplicativa: “Pagine
scritte che svelano la memoria e pagine da scrivere veleggiano nelle acque della Cultura e lasciano le tracce nella storia
dell’umanità.”

of the company.

Vincenzo De Filippis maintains his interview with the episode more "popular", by Paolo and
Francesca (Inf. V) modeling the clay into a vision with soft lines, highlighting all the poetic
power and beauty which it contains. With his work, jntroducendoci in an era that requires
silence, telling the story of love and death, the artist vigorously plastic, making use of his
artistic experience, physicists, new life and new meaning to a complex universe, which
investigates the time, place, the passion of two lovers, the piety of Dante.
The evening will be enriched by the actions of Alberto Altamura, a professor of Latin and
greek state high schools and currently manager of the school Tecnico Statale "E. Amaldi
"Massafra, who entertain the public on matters literary, humanities and philosophy of the
Divine Comedy; Aldo Galeano, in charge of the" Group Anonymous '74 "by Monteiasi,
promoter of the event, which will play songs chosen by the three parts, while Angelo Lippo,
art critic and poet, will center his talk on "Dante in the visual arts" with particular reference
to contemporary.
An event that surely will attract many scholars and lovers of the great poet, who, thanks to
Dante Readings are held in many cities of Italy, always continue to take the memory alive,
but also to stimulate research into new and more intriguing investigation.
Nicola Andreace has documented the event with his Manifesto, which added the following
