Greeting: Good morning / afternoon everyone! Praised be Jesus and Mary! Welcome to our module for
this session. You will find here our general instructional guidelines, then the components of our
module. You will be guided one step at a time through the specific instructions of the learning
tasks given below, which intend to develop our cognitive skills as well as our values, considering
current social realities. Let joy and peace abound in your mind and heart as you genuinely and
responsibly respond to the learning processes that this module offers.
1.1. Please refer to the syllabus for the Course Description, requirements, assessments and criteria for
grading. Opportunities for consultation will be provided through our group chat, email, Edmodo
or other social network. I will monitor your participation in our learning activities through these
chosen media. We exercise flexibility and openness considering the nature of your connectivity.
1.2. Academic integrity is a very important component in your outputs. I will subject your
outputs to a plagiarism software. This is also an integral part of the rubric you fill find below.
Use in-text citation (citing the author and year) when you mention a statement coming
from a source other than the list of references that can be found in your paper.
1.3. Feedback is an essential component in this mode of delivery. You will be asked of your
assessment of your learning experience in this subject so that we will be able to improve our
learning processes in the succeeding instructional delivery.
B.1.
In the analysis of two published research papers, characterize each research paper in
terms of the discussed elements. For every element, cite the word/phrase/sentence/opening line

of your analysis, use the tabular as shown below. Each correct entry gains two points.
B.2.
In the writing of explanatory essay, identify each step of the research process and
explain only the salient pointers in the accomplishment of each step. Your essay will be graded
based on the following criteria: Clarity of Thoughts (10 points) and Correctness of Thoughts (20
points),
C.1. For those with LIMITED connectivity, find the materials (videos, PowerPoint, readings, and this
Packet) in our Learning Management System. Respond to them and submit your work on
Wednesday morning. I will give you feedback the soonest time. If you have queries, you can
communicate with me during our class schedule.
C.2. For those with FULL connectivity, we will schedule a consultation through the google meet. I will
post a schedule in our group chat. Fill in your slot so we can have individual consultation. If there is
a need to meet the others in your same discipline, we will also schedule that.
