Nature of the subject as a discipline: The subject covers various contemporary arts practices of the region where the school is located. It aims to provide students with an appreciation of a
broad range of styles in the various disciplines with consideration on their elements and principles, and engage them to an integrative approach in
studying arts. Through this subject, students will broaden and acquire the necessary creative tools that open opportunities in pursuing their individual
career goals and aspirations.
Culminating Performance Standard: The learner will be able to demonstrate understanding and appreciation of the various contemporary arts practices of the region through creative tools
that open opportunities in pursuing their individual career goals and aspirations. Creates avenues to advocate the arts from the different regions of the
Philippines.
Goal: It aims to provide students with the critical and creative thinking skills necessary in an increasingly complex, interdependent, contemporary world
through the various disciplines with consideration on their elements and principles that engage them to an integrative approach in studying arts .
Implement an advocacy campaign to promote the arts from the different regions of the Philippines.
