Grow Management Consultants

Program communication report

Introduction
Grow Management Consultants specialises in leadership consultancy. The company offers a
range of services to assist companies to assess leadership behaviour of existing managers and
performance metrics. They also design and implement customised leadership programs based
on the assessment. Services are offered Australia-wide.

The three main projects that Grow Management Consultants offers are:
 Regular professional development workshops on all aspects of leading and managing
staff. The workshops are conducted every 3 months in Sydney, Brisbane, and Melbourne.
 Leadership Conference in October which Industry and academic leaders who are well
known and respected within the industry are invited to speak.
 E-book Business Growth Leadership Techniques. Also, several senior consultants have
expressed interest in writing an eBook in their area of expertise.

The purpose of this report is to co-ordinating these three company projects, ensuring that they
support each other in accordance with the Strategic Plan and Project Management Policy and
Procedures.

Stakeholder communication
Grow Management Consultants follows the strategy of maintaining effective communication
channels with all stakeholders to ascertain industry requirements and then develop products
and manage services accordingly. Each of the three programs have its own communication
needs and below the needs are separately organised.

Regular professional development workshops


The workshops stakeholders need an internal program communication addressing what is
happening in the day-to-day delivery of the program and what changes or successes/delays
team members need to be aware of. Also, external communication of what information is
appropriate for media relations and when to best share it.
Leadership Conference
The conference stakeholders need communication channels between the program and the
customer to detect the best way for the program to communicate across the multiple business
organizations. Also, corporate communication engagement with the internal corporate centres
in the different cities where it is hosted.
E-book Business Growth Leadership Techniques
The E-book stakeholders need an internal program communication of what is happening in the
during the development of the E-book and what changes or successes/delays consultants need
to be aware of. Also, in an external perspective, the organisation as a stakeholder needs an
external communication of what information is appropriate for media relations and when to
best share it.

New approaches
Approaches suggested may include the development of an inter-project communication system
in the following areas:

Consultation
The consultation in accordance with the management should provide monthly meeting and
brainstorming sessions to discuss and share ideas of the development of the following projects:
 Regular professional development workshops
 E-book Business Growth Leadership Techniques
 Leadership Conference

Partnership
The organisation should set weekly internal emails and communication applications (e.g. Email
groups or Messenger) to discuss the needs for resources or even to address any problem which
the management could provide support to find a resolution. These communication channel
should be related the following programs:
 Regular professional development workshops
 Leadership Conference

Push communications
Encompassing all the three programs, Grow Management Consultants should create an external
communication channel with clients in order to foresee the performance of its programs and
reinforce any preparation, for example, creating a contingency plan in case the prospected
attendance would be too high or low. The channels may include:
 Surveys
 Focus Groups
 Financial Reports
 Letters
 Emails
