Summary

Prejudice triggers cultural conflicts despite the civilization of an individual or

community, resulting from fearing and uncertainties. Four vital approaches are applied to reduce

multicultural conflicts and animosity. The first strategy is creating equity in legal status, power,

and economic opportunities. The approach above gives all the individuals in a society an equal

chance to participate in national events. Secondly, the communal institutions and authorities

must strain to provide a supportive environment in terms of economically, legal, and moral

frameworks. Segregation, as a policy, should get banned. The third strategy is providing an

environment for multidimensional cultural interactions within the formal and informal sectors.

According to the contact hypothesis, people from diverse cultural backgrounds eradicate their

biased perception of others once they interact and engage in food, cultural practices, and learning

diverse traditional values during interactions.

In the question of handling people from different cultures, intellectual knowledge may be

essential. However, the more critical aspect is understanding the person's traditions and attitudes

from the other culture. According to Summers (1987), learning different traditions is hard, but it

is even harder to understand them without the insight of their traditions. The above can be

applied to minimize the likelihood of biased perceptions. Human nature unearths the potential of

humans in portraying cruelty and also showing deeds of goodness through inspiration. The

current crisis of conflicts and wars waged within communities is a result of the psychological

misunderstandings and biases that exist between multicultural groups on earth.

The other question that is based upon prejudice founded on multicultural groups is the

current likelihood of reduced misunderstandings in the global village interactive environment.

With increased cross-cultural awareness, there is an opportunity to increase awareness of cultural

awareness based on exposure.

Question 1: Is there a possibility of global wars and crises amongst different communities likely

to end in the global village regime?

Theirs is hope as people continue to interact through social media to understand each other, thus

reduce multicultural conflicts. However, radicalization is also more likely to proliferate through

rapid information sharing on social platforms.

Question 2: Are there mutual understandings between the global community members for a

typical course of goodwill?

The global authorities have started to form unions that bring nations together for mutual
understanding and benefits. For instance, the UN and EU are extensive organizations that offer
coverage to multidimensional culture regions.
