Workshop Objectives
NWET is a forum for the industry & academia to discuss
& share the knowledge on emerging technologies &
practices. NWET-2009 and NWET-2010 were
conducted with focus on HVDC, FACTS and Advances
in grid management and power trading respectively.
NWET-2011 will be held during 21st –23rd January 2011
at Silicon Institute of Technology (SIT), Bhubaneswar,
Orissa. The main objective of this workshop is to
acquaint the participants with the emerging techniques
in the field of Energy Conservation and energy audit in
power distribution, thermal sector, building design and
processing industry. The workshop intends to bring
practicing engineers from industry and academics
together to discuss various options of saving energy.
The best practices shall be discussed with current area
of research and development in the field.
