better analyze the case to try to get the best settlement possible. If you have any questions at any

Please note, we may require information to support or substantiate the information above or to
establish a financial hardship to seek a lower settlement.

Also, make sure to STOP any downloading or sharing of any content on the internet. Turn off
those Torrent Clients. Always us a VPN when surfing the internet (I like NORD) and I like search
using DuckDuckGo (more private). Too many people are snooping these days and it is nice to
have a general sense of privacy in a data driven world.

Also – please STOP downloading any movies (and even downloading other things) as they
could add more movies to the list of alleged infringements and also use other downloads against
you as evidence. Also, make sure to preserve all potentially relevant evidence. Many people want
to “throw their computer in the bay,” but likely that would not help, and as lawyers, we cannot
advise you to do it and never advise to destroy evidence. Please preserve the status quo while we
work this out.

We will provide you with as many updates as possible. Sometimes, the ball is not in our court.
Feel free to call us or email us at any time. Especially if any circumstances change (you just lost
your job for example). There is no charge for calls or emails.

If you have something special, we need to know, please let us know. For example:

1. You have a security clearance you are worried about

2. You are applying for a license and you are worried
3. You are seeking to become a United States citizen (talk to us)
4. You are a new dad / parent / your wife is pregnant
5. You are worried about losing your job / losing hours
6. You have loved ones struggling with Covid related issues
 Talk to us and please be candid. Our discussions and emails are protected by the Attorney-
Client privilege. We have seen it all. But please be CANDID, the more we know, the more we
can try to help you. If you want to fight the litigation, we can do that as well, but separate legal
costs will apply, and in most cases, you may have to pay to have your hard drive forensically
examined (approx. 3k). We are willing to litigate on cases where YOU DID NOT DO THE
DOWNLOADING OR FILE SHARING. Their technology is not always right, and in fact they
have dismissed cases before, and even lost cases where they did not have the evidence. So, be
candid and work with us. We will work through this together

Finally, like all other legal processes, cases don’t always move as fast as we, or our clients,
would sometimes like, but just know we are on top of it, and you can always contact us if you are
concerned.

HARDSHIP PACKAGE

If you feel a financial hardship applies, please gather the following documents and forward to us
by email, fax, or U.S Mail. Email in ONE DOCUMENT PDF is preferred.

3. Proof of military service / discharge
4. Proof of credit card bills (to make the case bankruptcy is a real option)
5. Proof of other bills (ex. tax liens / medical bills / student loans)
6. Anything else you believe to be relevant to the issue of financial hardship (any
government assistance award letters, social security, disability, PPP, etc.)
