 JOB DESCRIPTION FOR GM-MAI HYDROPOWER

 To be responsible for the overall management, leadership, direction, and proper


implementation of a hydropower, its staffs and resources.

 To prepare detailed cost estimates, manage the budget and cost control, perform capital
program management, and financial and project schedule reporting.

 To participate and lead tender preparation, tender evaluations, contract negotiations, contract
administration, contract supervision, and claims management.

 To manage problem solving processes with respect to design, construction, and coordination
issues associated with hydraulic turbines, alternators, excitation systems, governor systems,
plant electrical and mechanical systems, waterway civil structures (concrete and earthen),
powerhouse super structure and substructure, hydraulic steel structures, cranes, hoists, and
spillway gates, reservoir management, and flood routing.

 To oversee site provisions for employee occupational safety and health programs.

 To work and communicate with local and national authorities on the hydropower project.

 To communicate regularly and report on the project’s progress to the Board of Directors,
funding agencies, and to relevant government ministries.

 To execute the decisions of the Board of Directors and to perform other functions as directed by
the Board.

 To closely supervise and monitor office accounts and project accounts,

 To visit site frequently to supervise and monitor the execution of the project,

 To carry out such any other works as are required to conduct the business of the company.
