SUMP SHARK FILTER ADVANTAGE

Don’t just shop the lowest micron number. Too fine of a filter in the
wrong application can reduce (or even stop) pumping flow. Some
manufacturers tout low micron numbers, but because of defective
design, unintended particles pass through the filter.

CECOR designed a filter based on the concept of “caking.” As dirty

fluids pass through the filter, solids build up on the filter forming a
“cake,” which enables the filter to trap even finer particles.
