SPECIFICATION SHEET FOR THE PRODUCTION OF THE LAMELLAR WOOD

The lamellar are made of Red Fir wood, first and second choice, as per DIN directive. (DIN 4074).
The same are cut in the sense of the fibres and then smoothened as per DIN regulation (DIN
1052). The lamellar have not more than 15% of humidity (8-9% for indoor heated location) –
(0-12% for indoor non-heated location) and (12-14% for outdoor locations).
All above features guarantee a perfect performance of the material from the gluing surfaces to the
internal tension which could create deformation or cracks.
The composition and the assortment of the transversal section of the lamellar is such to produce
high quality lamellar wood Q1 (GK1) as per DIN 1052.
The production is carried out inside a specialized factory who got the “Assembling elements of high
luminosity” Type A certification released by the Ottograf Institute of Stuttgart, Germany
“BESCHEINIGUNG” or equivalent.
The lamellar are pressed together to form the sections as it results from the study and calculations
under following procedure:
- Glue spreading made by means of a particular machine on one surface of the lamellar with a
quantity of glue equal to 0,6 kg x m2, so as to get an homogeneous surface of glue.
The temperature during this process corresponds to 18 - 20ºC.
- The lamellar are glued at the edges in a comb section joints as normative DIN 68140. These
joints will be irregular and shifted adjacently at least of 30 cm distance each other
- The gluing pressure is homogeneous and get by means of vices located at the maximum
distance of 40 cm each other and with by applying a minimum hydraulic pressure of 8,5 kg/cm2
up to DIN 1052 rule.

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS FOR TEXTILE COVERING MEMBRANE

Covering membrane made by heavy-duty polyester fabric for high performance, coated PVC on
both sides and treated against UV. Weight (*) of fabric = 750 gr x m2 (DIN spec. 53365), thickness
(*) mm 0,70, thermal excursion from –30º up to +70º Celsius, Thermal K = 6,9 kcal/hour.
The material is produced according to a special dedicated software which determine the angle of
sloping of the stretching points.
It is also provided an opening system for the summer season to be applied on all sides of the
structure by means of sliding panels joined together with heavy duty hinging system.
(*) Weight/ thickness are also : 900/75 or 1085\95 or 1300\115 or 1450\125
SPECIFICATIONS COVERING MATERIALS
Covering A – with Alveolar polycarbonate sheets with protection against UV. The same is obtained
by having inside the panel an empty space which works as an insulation air chamber. Minimum 4
chambers for each panel. The materials include also all the joint fittings in pre-painted galvanized
steel for an use of –40ºC up to +120ºC.
The sun radiation that reaches the surface of the panel will be reflected, partially absorbed and
transmitted to the internal part. The treatment applied to the material give a high resistance to the
product against UV, against hail stone and accidental damages also after long exposure to the UV
rays.
The manufacturer guarantees for a period of 10 years: transparency of the material, transmission of
light, and resistance to cracks due to atmospheric agents.

Covering B – with wood sheet in Fir wood mm 22 smoothened and painted with water/moisture
water repellant product. The fixing system of the supporting structure below is made by using
stainless steel bolts. The above protection is obtained by the employ of a bituminous primer. The
external insulation is given by a bituminous membrane auto adhesive armed with TNT 159 g x m2
and protected with a layer of Ardesia of 2 cm. thickness and with a total weight of 3,5 kg x m2.
Or external cladding and water proofing by using a bituminous auto adhesive membrane protected
by a thin plate of copper.

Covering C : the panels are made of double plate sheet galvanized and pre painted with protective
polyurethane foam thickness 40 mm. The external plate is of the Greek type, the internal is smooth.
The fixing elements are made of stretching poles with gaskets. The covering of the body is made
with a special Press machine in order to guarantee the perfect joint of the plate to the structure
