• About the Live Project

– We are hired by a client to work on various elements of Cluster-Based
Development Strategies / Approach to develop a particular industry and develop
competitiveness of industry.
– Students are expected to prepare a concept paper / a white paper / a report on
the ‘Cluster-Based Development Strategies / Approach’ to develop industry
clusters
– The copy right of the work/output remains with 5X Learning Solutions and
Services LLP. The work cannot be published / presented by the students
elsewhere. However, they can mention this project / show this project work to
others (corporate/recruiters).

• Concept Paper / White Paper should:

– Be plagiarism free. (We use standard software for the check.)
– With citing sources / references and acknowledging sources of information
– The content / coverage could include:
• Evolution of industry clusters, history – evolution, Global practices of
cluster development, Cluster-Based Development Approach / Strategies,
Methods / Techniques / strategies, different ways of intervention to
promote cluster-based development
• Combining Business Strategy, Economics, Economic Analysis with Cluster-
Based Development Approach to enhance industry competitiveness
• Examples, evidences of impact of cluster-based development approach
• Assessing the impact of Government / State’s role in development of the
industry clusters, facts and figures – impact study
• Role of Indian Government in developing Industry clusters in India,
Initiatives by the Indian Government to promote or enhance
competitiveness of the industry clusters in India – data points, evidences,
different interventions, outlay of money etc. – impact study
• Cluster Based Development Approach from the perspective of economic
development, industry competitiveness and strategic management.
– Tables should be numbered.
– Any book, journal paper, research reports, magazine article should be properly
referenced. (As End Notes)
– Direct extraction of texts / tables from research reports (PDF files) needs proper
formatting in line with the formatting of the overall report. Large chunk of texts
from any report should be avoided.
