Team mission:
As a senior cloud security engineer, you will be the subject matter expert for all things security
and regulatory compliance at ThoughtSpot. You understand strategic priorities, business and
technical requirements, issues and tactical problems, to develop and articulate robust and
innovative security technology solutions. Become a cloud security evangelist for internal
stakeholders and build solutions that are aligned with internal security, regulatory, and deal
requirements.

Your mission:

● Take a leadership role in defining tools, techniques, and technologies used to secure
and monitor ThoughtSpot's cloud infrastructure.
● You will be a key member of the team in innovating, designing, and developing a
security management system for all of ThoughtSpot's Cloud applications and
infrastructure
● You will contribute to building tools and applications that will strengthen and innovate in
the security space within Thoughtspot's cloud and infrastructure.
● Foster a culture of security consciousness while understanding the trade-offs between
security, usability, and performance at a large scale.
● You will influence and assist in new security solutions, security processes, security
standards to support hyper-scale SaaS growth.
You know you are the right person if you have:

● Proven experience of a minimum of 8 years of deep technical experience in software


security product development
● 5+ years of hands-on programming experience in Python, or any strong object-oriented
programming language; 3+ years of experience with building cloud services
● Working knowledge of scripting languages (e.g. Python, Ruby, Perl) and experience with
multiple data storage solutions
● Experience with deploying containerized applications using Docker and k8s (or similar)
● Knowledge of AWS/Azure/Google Cloud security services and tools.
● Experience with cloud provisioning and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes,
Terraform, and Ansible
