cross-text multiple matching exercise (CAE Reading: Part 6. Cross-text multiple matching) in the context of
robots and predictions.

regarding predictions and sci-fi >Ss discuss questions a-b about science fiction works and predictions.

For Ss to read for detail T asks about the strategies that Ss follow to tackle this type of exercises
(identifying same meaning with and then goes on to summarize the main characteristics and strategies for
different words) this task.
To provide Ss with strategies for Individually,
this type of task. Ss underline the questions to identify the main topic of each of them and
write that info in a chart. (T. 2A).
Ss complete a chart revising which information is provided by each
expert regarding the topics they’ve identified. (T. 2B).
