I express my special gratitude to my teacher Sir Angelo who gave me the opportunity to
do this project on the topic “Narcotic Drug Problem” which also helped me in doing a lot of
research. This enhanced and deepened my knowledge about the topic. I am really thankful to
him. I thank him for his invaluable support and guidance inspite of him busy schedule. Last but
not the least. I would like to thank my friends for always being there for all the help I needed to
complete the project/work/assignment.
 NARCOTIC DRUG PROBLEM
I. INTRODUCTION

People are most likely to begin abusing drugs-including tobacco, alcohol, and illegal
and prescription drugs during adolescence and young adulthood. By the time they are seniors,
almost to percent of high school student will have a tied alcohol, half will have taken a illegal
drug nearly 40 percent will have used a prescription drug for a nomedical purpose. There are
many reason adolescents use these substances, including the desire for new experiences. An
attempt to deal with problems or perform better in school and simple peer pressure. Adolescents
are “Biology Wired” to seek new experiences and talk risks, as well as to carve out their own
identity. Trying drugs may fulfill all of these normal developmental drives. But in unhealthy way
that can have very serious long-term consequence.

In pharmacology, drug is a chemical substance typically of know structure, whuch when

administered to a living drugs or medication. When yoyr addicted you may continue using the
drug despite the harm it causes.

Drug addiction also called substance use disorder. Is a person’s brain and behavior and
leads to an inability to control the use of a legal or illegal drug or medication. When you’re
addicted, you may continue using the drug despite the harm it causes.

Drug is a problem faced by many people of the world. It is a topic that interests many
writers, and they wish to write an essay on drugs for this topic. Drugs are very harmful and keep
the capability of dragging an individual towards death and destruction. People all over the world
want to eradigate the adverse situation of drug addiction from this world and this is the reason
why they are busy in writing an essays on drugs.
