Guidelines for Installing GUI setup for ERP T&D Server Access: ( For users on STRWAN network)

1. Download the GUI software:

Open STR Intranet Portal : http://10.192.161.2 or http://strhq.org
Click Downloads - Main Directory - ERP-BSNL -ERP-Software
Download the software (MasterCD.rar) and save.
2. Download the WinRAR exe file:

Download winrar.exe file which is available in

Downloads Main Directory  Utilities File Compression

Download the winrar software and save.

Install the WinRAR application.

3. Uncompress the MasterCD.rar

a. Double Click the MasterCD.rar file; Click Close
b. Click ‘Extract To’ option
c. All the files have will be uncompressed to the location mentioned.
4. Installation of ERP Front End Software:
Execute SetupAll application available in
Master CD  SAPGUI  WINDOWS  WIN32 folder
SAP Net Weaver Screen Appears. Click Next
Select All - Next
Target Directory for GUI7.0 screen appears ; click Next
Target Directory for Business Explorer screen appears; Click Next
Installation Starts.
Wait till installation is completed
Click Done
Close
Verify SAP Logon Shortcut appears on your desktop
5. clicking on SAP Logon icon available on your desktop
6. Click New Item
7. Create New System Entry Screen appears; Click Next
8. System Entry Property Screen Appears
9. Connection type as ‘Custom Application Server’
10. Enter Description as ‘IDES ECC’
11. Enter Application Server : 10.196.223.130
12. Enter System Number : 00
13. Enter System ID : TRG
14. Click Next Screen
15. Click Finish

16. Login Screen Appears: Click Logon
17. Enter Username : Your 9 digit HR Number
18. Enter Password : initpass
19. Press Enter Key
20. On First Login , You should change the password (Minimum 6 characters) by typing 2 times the
new password. Press Enter Key to submit the new password.
21. Do Not Forget the password you have entered.
22. Detailed procedure is also available in ‘loginpack.doc’ under MasterCD folder.
