The requirement of oil for four cities is given below.

Oil is transported from three plants to four cities. The cost of transportation (in Rs/KL) is
shown in the table below.

How to meet the demand?


Napkin problem
A hotel has orders to serve a number of dinners during the next week. Special napkins are
required.
Cost of napkin: Rs. 50/-
Cost of quick wash: Rs. 5/-
Cost of ordinary wash: Rs. 2/-

Quick wash will take one day i.e., if a napkin is given on first day, then it will be washed and
can be used on the third day.

Ordinary wash will take 2 days i.e., if a napkin is given on first day, then it will be washed
and can be used on fourth day.
