‘Rendang’ is a spicy meat dish commonly served across the country. Because of its
generous use of numerous spices, rendang is known for having a complex and
unique taste. Among the spices used in making the rendang dish are onion, garlic,
ginger, turmeric, lemongrass and chili. These ingredients are blended together.
The meat pieces are the slowly cooked in coconut milk and the blended spices until
