We deliver workshops, Train-the-Trainer sessions (BOOT CAMPS), public programs, motivational keynote
presentations and executive coaching sessions. We have been to 43 states; the Netherlands, Asia, Bahamas,
Turkey, Ireland, Spain, Norway, Canada, Mexico and England. We have worked with speakers, trainers, radio show
hosts, individual contributors, managers and leaders.

Prior to forming JIMPACT, Jim worked in leadership positions for over 16 years with the Bob Pike Group, Simmons
Associates, CoreStates Bank, the Vanguard Group of Investments and Prudential’s American Association of Retired
Persons (AARP) Operations. He has been featured on the cover of the National Speaker’s Association SPEAKER
Magazine (November 2008) and the New Jersey PERFORMANCE Magazine (with President Barack Obama,
Newark, New Jersey’s Mayor Cory Booker, Donald Trump, Joel Osteen and others). Throughout his career, Jim has
been known for his creative, spirited, high energy and purposeful approach to developing relationships, talent and

Prior to forming JIMPACT Enterprises in 2000, Jim Smith, Jr., worked in corporate leadership positions for over 16
years in various companies including the Bob Pike Group, Simmons Associates, CoreStates Bank, the Vanguard
Group of Investments and Prudential’s American Association of Retired Persons (AARP) Operations. Jim presently
serves as a faculty member for both the Rutgers University and Temple University Executive MBA Programs.

Each year Neighbors Federal Credit Union conducts an in-service day for all staff called Neighbors Day. It is one of
the few times each year all 175 employees get together in the same place at the same time. Neighbors Day is used to
motivate staff, increase interaction and give them something to take away that is actionable.
This year, we invited Jim Smith, Jr. to be the speaker at the event. Jim is the owner and founder of JIMPACT
Enterprises, Inc. According to the surveys completed by all levels of staff, Jim was the most inspirational and
dynamic speaker ever at Neighbors Day. His Ability to involve all staff and get individuals to interact with those
they would probably never speak to was second to none.
Impressive to me was the way he spoke about areas of each employees work and home life, got them to recognize
their strengths and weaknesses and then allowed them to create a plan to utilize their strengths and work on their
weaknesses. The employees were engaged before they even knew what happened because Jim speaks with a passion
that’s from his heart.
At each Neighbors Day, we give all employees a book to read and then we discuss the book with our staff
throughout the year. This year, we gave each employee Jim’s book, “From Average to Awesome”. At the end of the
event, Jim personally signed books.
We have already seen Jim’s thoughts carry-over into the workplace. He accomplished everything we set out to do on
Neighbors Day: Motivate staff, increase interaction and give them something actionable.
