Lesson 1: Holistic Health
What is holistic health? What do you know about growth and development? What are the
dimension of health? How will you achieve a holistic health?

In today’s generation most of the students does not pay attention with their health and what are
the effects of unhealthy habits. In this lesson you will know and appreciate the importance of holistic
health and it will make you realize that knowing what holistic health is you will be able to
understand that it is essential for your own growth and development.

OBJECTIVES:

Students will be able to:

a. explains the dimensions of holistic health (physical, mental/ intellectual,


emotional, social, and moral-spiritual)
b. practices health habits to achieve holistic health
c. Recognize changes in different aspects of growth that normally happen
during adolescence years
d. Applies coping skills in dealing with health concerns during adolescence
