D8 Strahlenschutzbox
Die Glasscheiben der Strahlenschutzbox des D8 sind sehr spröde und bruchempfindlich.
Beim Austauschen beschädigter Scheiben ist folgendes zu beachten:
Sind die beschädigten Scheiben noch nicht mit Unterlagscheiben aus Kunststoff und Gummitüllen im
Blechrahmen gelagert, müssen alle 4 Scheiben getauscht werden. Es dürfen keine gemischte
Lagerung der Scheiben im Blechrahmen vorhanden sein (eine Scheibe mit Tüllen und
Kunststoffscheiben, die anderen nur auf den Bolzen gehalten).
Zum Austausch der Scheiben muß der Austauschsatz Glasscheiben C79298-A3242-D12 bestellt
werden.
Die alten Türen der Box werden ins Werk zur Nacharbeit und Wiederverwendung (Vorraussetzung:
daß mindestens 2 Türen ohne Beschädigung sind bzw. nur geringste Gebrauchsspuren aufweisen)
zurückgeschickt.

Der Austauschsatz C79298-A3242-D12 enthält:

Umbau- und Justageanleitung
alle 4 Glasscheiben incl. Griffe, Blechrahmen und Scharniere (teilmontiert)

D8 Box
The glass panes of the D8 radiation protection box are very brittle and fragile. When replacing the
damaged panes, please take note of the following:

If the damaged panes are not packed in lead frames with plastic support sheets and rubber bushings,
then all 4 panes hav e to be replaced. Mixed storage of the panes is not allowed (e.g. one pane with
bushings and plastic sheets and the other only supported by the bolts).

To exchange the panes the replacement kit C79298-A3242-D12 has to be ordered. The old box doors
will be sent back to the fatory for repair and reuse (on the condition that at least 2 doors are
undamaged or show only slight traces of use).

Replacement kit C79298-A3242-D12 contains:

modification and calibration instructions
4 glass panes including handles, lead frames and hinges (partially assembled)
