PDM360 NG – repacking v03

Reason and versions

Due to the discontinuation of several components (LCD display, analogue video decoder) it was necessary to modify the
PDM360 NG hardware. This hardware modification is done for the following device statuses:
• CR1080 AF • CR1084 AC
• CR1081 AE • CR1085 AC
• CR1082 AC • CR1087 AC
• CR1083 AG
To continue use of projects based on older operating systems the old operating systems were adapted to the new hardware.
This allows to use a new hardware without changing older CODESYS projects.
This resulted in a so-called repacking version 03 identified by a fourth position in the version number.
The following operating systems were changed and can be downloaded from our web site and are available on the
ecomatmobile DVD V02.08.01:
• v01.01.02 included in file V01.01.02.03_NoWD_PDM360NG.ifm
• v01.02.00 included in file V01.02.00.03_NoWD_PDM360NG.ifm
• v01.03.02 included in file V01.03.02.03_NoWD_PDM360NG.ifm
• v01.05.01 included in file V01.05.01.03_NoWD_PDM360NG.ifm
• v02.00.01 included in file V02.00.01.03_NoWD_PDM360NG.ifm
• v02.01.00 included in file V02.01.00.03_NoWD_PDM360NG.ifm
• v02.02.00 included in file V02.02.00.03_NoWD_PDM360NG.ifm

A new operating system version 02.03.01 was developed and has been pre-installed on the new hardware.
The version 02.03.01 is only available for the new device statuses.
Because it is only running on the new hardware versions, it has the characteristics of the repacking 03.
Therefore it is named v02.03.01.03 (V02.03.01.03_NoWD_PDM360NG.ifm).

Package content

Usually an *.ifm file (e.g. The repacking v03 file (e.g. V02.02.00.03_NoWD_PDM360NG.ifm) contains two operating
V02.02.00_NoWD_PDM360NG.ifm) systems. One for the old hardware (e.g. v02.02.00) and another one for the new hardware
contains only one operating system. (e.g. v02.02.00.03).

Backup / restore

Before restore the device compares the versions of firmware from the backup file and on the device.
