The M100 range of exchanges is
multipurpose communication exchanges
designed to utilise various types of user
terminals, using a single or dual pair star-
cabled configuration.

On-site programming of the exchange

enables allocation of functions per
subscriber line, i.e. each station in the
system may be enabled to, or restricted
from, using specific functions.
The exchanges are provided with a duplex
controller which automatically adjusts the
loudspeaking duplex operation to an
optimum for the acoustical environment
of each station.

Functional description
The desktop master station is provided
with a directory list and a drawer for
additional numbers and short form user
instruction. The functional keyboard
contains 10 digit keys for selection and 8
function keys with explanatory markings.
A call tone and a pilot lamp indicate
connection and prevents accidental
listening-in.
An optional handset for low-speaking
conversations may be added.
Prepared for mounting optional function
kits.
The compact master station is intended
for areas and applications where
compactness is of importance or where
flush mounting in desk or wall is
required.
Flush mount frames and back boxes are
available for flush mount applications.
An optional handset with cradle may be
connected.

Functional description
The compact master station has identical
functional use as that of the desktop
master station.
Kits are available for use with a door-
opening mechanism for remote door
opening. Kits must be powered separately
either locally or centrally from the
exchange. Volume is preset in each station.
Functional description
By pressing the single call button out-
going calls are made to one pre-defined
location. The call wil be in direct or
indirect mode according to pre-
programming. If in indirect mode the
call has to be accepted by the receiver
before normal duplex conversation can be
established. A station can be
programmed to reset a call within a pre-
programmed time-frame if an outgoing
call is not answered. Any station in the
system can call the single call station by
dialling the station’s extension number.

The industrial single call station is designed for
quick single key access to one pre-determined
station in any M100 system. Ideal for use at doors,
gates or in lifts as well as protected outdoor
environments. The station is delivered as a flush
mount unit with die-cast zink alloy front lacquered
in a light grey colour. It has a built-in directory list
and splash-proof front. Volume is preset in each
station.

Kits are available for use with a door- opening
mechanism for remote door opening. Kits must
