Description
The Munters MFA Cassette has been designed and engineered
to meet the demands of those industries where robust corrosion
free construction, long service life and performance are essential
requirements for critical plant procurement.
Principle of Operation
Air passing through the CELdek® or GLASdek pads is
humidified and cooled due to intensive contact between the air and
the wetted unheated pad surface. The increase in humidity occurs
through evaporation alone without the need for additional energy
input. Only a small amount of water is consumed. The water

Specification Guide
The frame shall be fabricated from stainless steel with mounting flanges (where required). The frame houses Munters
CELdek® or GLASdek (Fire retardant) rigid evaporative media and contains a Munters water distribution pipe assembly.
All internal pipe work shall be made from stainless steel / rigid plastic non corrosive materials easily removable for
servicing via quick disconnect fittings. Water supply control valve shall be a brass solenoid valve individually sized
according to evaporative efficiency pad ratings. The electrical power supply connection is 24VAC (240 VAC optional).
Rigid evaporative cooling / humidification medial shall be Munters patented CELdek® or GLASdek pads to achieve
evaporative efficiencies required. All pads are fitted with a water distribution pad ensuring even lateral water distribution.
The Humidifier is to be fitted to a cooling or heating coil with a drain tray or a separate drain supplied. The water supply
shall be filtered clean mains with a minimum continuous pressure of 1 bar.
