Summary: The project scope entails developing a dealership management web application allowing the admin to login,
create login credentials of users. We have created the CRM functionality for client where client can create auto
triggers which can fire automatically on predefined events and send mails and SMS to customers and to other site
users as well. The application is accessible to users like : Sales Person, Receptionist, Sales Manager, F & I Manager,
General Manager and Purchasing Manager and would set the access levels. Users would be able to manage
customer information, prospects, vehicle information, sales details, users and financial information based on their
assigned roles.

About the product: This has been evolved as a product with brand name OceanManager. Document Management
System is at its heart implies a system that offers using which one can safely keep all documents in a common
shared document database in a hierarchical fashion. It also keeps history of various versions of document. At any
point of time one can view, profile and search (based on profile and contents). The document can also be
replicated to other location and the system keeps synchronization between different
locations for different versions.

Key components in the product are following:


Synchronizer: ​This is a key component of the product and is responsible for securely and reliably transferring
documents between various locations. The transfer of documents is done with minimal network (bandwidth)
overheads, which require incremental transfer of file contents that differ between files being synchronized.
Documents are converted to XML for transfer. The component uses the tested SMTP/POP3 platform as a base for
performing the data transfer with industry standard algorithms being used to identify file differences, packaging of
data and breaking/merging of data packets at either ends (locations) of synchronization.

User Manager: ​Holds the responsibility of adding, modifying and deleting Users and User Groups and associating
users and groups. This component works keeping Session Manager in concern.

Document Repository:​ Holds the responsibility of adding, modifying and deleting files, creating directories and
assigning permissions. It keeps track of version of documents and stores profile attribute information in database.

Location Manager: ​It keeps track of office and vessel locations defined in system.
