Abbreviations used:
ch - chain
sc - single crochet (UK - double crochet)
dc - double crochet (UK -  treble)
dc2tog - double crochet 2 stitches worked together
dc3tog - double crochet 3 stitches worked together
sl st - slip stitch
ch-sp - chain space
Using white ch 4 and
join to form a ring.

Round 1: Ch 3 (counts
as 1st dc), dc2tog into
ring, ch 2, (dc3tog, ch
2) 5 times into ring.
Join with a sl st to the
beg of round. Fasten off.
Round 2: Join red into any 2ch-sp. ch 3, dc, ch 2, dc2tog into same space, **ch 2 (dc2tog, ch 2, dc2tog) into next 2ch-
sp** Rep from ** to ** around. Join with a sl st to the beginning of round.
Round 3: Sl st into next 2ch-sp, ch 3, dc, ch 5, dc2tog in same space, ch 3, **(dc2tog, ch 1, dc2tog) in next 2ch-sp, ch 3,
